    We already had Sumomo as a troll entry so we didn’t need this guy as well did we?



    T_T it was not a troll entry really. i was hoping that despite her size, she could win the elimination. at that time, due to lack of research, i thought any mechanical object that moves can be considered mecha. since most of the voters take meccha as big robots that can be piloted, it crushed my hopes of her winning.

    Well "Mecha" may come from the word mechanical but any old show with robots in it isn't refered to as a mecha show. So the term Mecha doesn't reefer to all robots. After thinking about it I've thought of two simple criteria for whethere something is Mecha.
    1. It must be Mechanical
    2.It must be pilotable
    For example a Golem can is some cases be made pilotable but is a magical being typically made of stone. It can't really be called Mecha. Persicoms or Medabots are mechanical but can't in any way be piloted. I guess in a sense you could remote control them but if that counted then RC cars would be mecha. A couple grey areas exist like with Mecha that are powered by Magic seemed mechanical or unmanned mecha that COULD be piloted but were made as unnmaned models. I would consider ones likes these on a case by case basis as some I would call mecha but others I'd say fall a little short.

    This is just my opinion mind you but I just felt like sharing my view on what criteria work for Mecha.

    @metazoxan, the only benefit about inferno cop was that he was "driven" by someone while in car form, which he then consumed for energy. Yeah he didn't need  a driver but was given one just to continue the screwed nature of the show going, thats why he is a troll entry. And I agree with your analysis of what a mecha is, but now that it is the 2nd rounds I think everyone left is deserving.

    Well I wasn't a fan of it but at least I've seen code geass.

    @Metazoxan, i have been nominating chars in evry elimination game i've taken part in, despite me hating the mecha genre, i wanted one in this one aswell. I would have nominated Chamber from Suisei no Gargantia but Ovyda did before i could. Then i could only think of Inferno Cop so i asked if he was okay, got no reply. I decided to just wait untill i got a reply but when i was drunk on some saturday night, i thought ''screw it i'll just do it'' and i put him in the list. No1 noticed and here he is. Troll entry that no one seemed to be against. He even got more votes than i expected :D

    well anyway on to the vote

    I like them both. If we count the fully upgraded version Guren S.E.I.T.E.N. has those awesome energy wings and has a very impessive arsenal. But the Mechalord is my own Nominee and he is pretty powerful to especially when fused with the gaia sheild.
    This is the last episode where the fight with the Mechalord takes place (Video starts right where he fuses with the sheild) Look at the video quick to at least see what it looks like.
