    I'd say so. He's kind of like made of energy but he's being piloted by people and he has a mecha as his core so close enough.

    Well Ger is a tiny robot from the rather bizar cartoon series invader Zim. His thing is that he's supposed to be a combat droid to help the main character Zim take over the world but he's defective so he's a babbling idiot. That's pretty much it.

    I'm not familiar with the other but his image is at least more mecha like so even without knowing much he's clearly the better option

    Super Dimension Century was an early 80s show that I vaguely remember. Weren't getting enough mecha nominated so I threw it in the mix.

    Doesn't even matter which Vandread mech this is I'd still vote for it. I don't know much about Gundam but Zaku means small fry as often said by one of the characters right? Surely that can't be too impressive, can it?

    Well just to be sure I looked him up and while he is an upgraded for of the basic Zaku he's still a mass produced model. It also seems he can have a decent number of weapons but none of them are anything too impressive.

    Meanwhile Vandread has several forms all with a shit ton of power and even if you limit it to one form Each one is a more interesting and stronger Mech than a slightly better version of the small fry.
