I vote Rias because she was the only character giving me any points towards my prediction bracket in which I said she'd win. Also Mira just annoys me.

Maybe, this could explain a bit, asked my brother this too and the result is maybe she just annoys all Australian males. I asked Hatless to be sure and turns out nope, he doesn't find her annoying Mafia so you are wrong but who cares. She is annoying to us and that is all that matters.

 

Out of curiosity, what makes her so annoying to you?

 

She doesn't do very much until her first use my magic or die kind of scenario, until then she just seemed to be a character that could have stood in the background and done nothing. And after the showing of the incident, thats when I first liked her but even after its resolved nothing changes except for she now can fight. Knowing how she was in the past was a double edged sword since finally she was respectable for being badass, then she doesn't do much.

I get that she is a kindhearted character but there just has to be something else she does to get my support, as characters who don't do anything for a while don't grab my attention and is part of the reason why I hate romance [these characters are abundant in that genre].

So some hair made you mad? You're gonna have to describe what about her personality makes her annoying. I realize the measurement of annoyance is highly subjective but its really easy to generalize and say her personality is annoying without giving some examples.

 

And basically @supernatural-knight she's not in the main group (Team Natsu) but she's more detailed backstory wise than a lot of others. Significantly more than say, Laki. And even as much as Wendy or Gajeel.

She's been in every conflict since her power returned in the Oracion Seis arc. And fought someone each time. Dramatic backstory which caused a 180 personality change aside, the shit after the Edolas arc was beautiful.

I could continuously site her wiki with contributions to story progression and in depth character development but that's more post structuring than I would care to do at this hour. Basically, she's a side character but she still has a more backstory, development and screen time than Rias.

 

Umm… I guess I just see her as a “useless mascot” type of character. One who says and does stupid things, but everyone always likes them and treats them too nicely.


Are we even watching the same show? Obviously Happy is the mascot type character. She never does stupid things, when was this? And most people treat her nice because shes a sweet and kind girl you're not gonna treat people like that like shit. And not everyone is kind to her all the time, Gray made her cry before.

 

I still fail to see how she's a mascot. If anything she's more of the motherly character who looks out for everyone. Mascot implies a peppy, "Go team go" bravado. And crying from having your feelings hurt isn't a display of arrogance. That last statement is still baffling me lol.

 

I figured that was your example for arrogance since it followed directly after the comment. So really you haven't provided an example for arrogance yet. Arrogance is a personality trait completely contradictory to how Mira behaves. And how does modeling equate to mascot? Being well known for something like being in the sorcerer's weekly doesn't seem like a qualification to me. Under those conditions Erza could be called the mascot because she is renowned and represents the guild as a powerful mage.
