You know the series Vampire Academy or Vampire Kiss? They are not sparkly, and much better~ Although personally, I prefer Amelia Atwater-Rhodes' series "Den of Shadow." That world looks really fun to be in..

Then there's also L.J. Smith. and NO, not the "Vampire Diaries." Honestly, I don't think I like that series too much... but I love her "Night World" series though!!
