    A great series... but a shame they haven't come back with a season 3 yet, esp as there is still alot of unanswered questions and I want to see Alibaba hook up with his girl Morgiana... its just mind numbing to be waiting several years to know more... does anyone know if there is a season 3 in the pipeline or not please?

    And I hate how people are voting for characters merely because the series they're in is popular or something, rather than because of characters themselves.

    Tell me, if Fairy Tail characters were in several different, less popular series, would you still be voting them, or do you vote them just because the show is popular?

    Why all the hateration @Satoko -kun...?

    Just take a chill-pill and ... R... E... L... A... X....

    For my own personal self... I chose Aladdin... because he is one bad-ass "Magic User"... taking on your boy Otosaka... no competition... cos Aladdin well if you ever did or ever will get the chance to watch the Magi Series (and prequel via Sinbad)... you will know that Aladdin is no joke and he is a reincarnation of many other Magi before him... who bring a major 'ancient' magic... that not even your boy Otosaka could even begin to fathom... or even stand up to...

    Yes though I admit i have not seen the Charlotte series (yet)... it's clear that Otosaka is no competition for Aladdin...

    But come on my friend... no need to hate on Fairy Tail...! Now that's just bad manners!!!

    Yuu doesn't need to. He can steal his powers away and flip time to beginning point if he happens to lose. Hell, if he were alive, he'd be able to reset this round over and over again till he won.

    Ahhh but yet... Aladdin can operate 'outside' of time itself... Aladdin is pure magic essence and your boy Yuu as many times as you think he would be able to rewind time... he would always lose... as Aladdin is a Magi... Yuu couldn't steal something away that he cannot control, and knowing Aladdin... he would most likely just give your boy as much magic essence to the point he would be so overwhelmed he would be consumed and become engulfed by the pureness and light... until he was no more...

    Still your earlier comment on Fairy Tail was uncalled for... but hey I get it... I know from past battles with you @Satoko Houjou -kun that you get passionate over the most 'interesting' things... You are who you are... no matter....

    I don't hate on Fairy Tail, quite the opposite, in fact. I even nommed a character from that series. I just hate that people vote for characters because they appreciate the series they're from, rather than because they appreciate characters themselves

    It maybe true that Fairy Tail is more popular than the other series' noms that were nominated, but everyone does have their own opinions, likes, & dislikes. I will admit that when it comes to the elimination games that I am quite ignorant of a majority of the nominees that come up for voting, which is why I of course vote for the one that I know and like.

    Exactly this. Not everyone has seen every show out there and it's more likely people have not seen a series if it's not so known. I don't know how known Charlotte is, but it's the first time i've heard of it, that might be just me though. Most people also don't have the time to look into all characters that they don't know.

    But isn't one of the purposes of this contest to help people find new series to watch.....?

    Besides, if they only watched a handful of series, their votes would be governed by whether or not they know -series name- or not, rather than voting for the better character.....

    For example, if we have Better dancer elimination game and someone who is a better dancer character-wise is up against the character from the anime everyone knows but sucks at dancing, people would still vote for second character just because they know the anime the second character is from better.

    And that defeats the purpose of the game.

    The problem with not knowing a character is being unaware of his/her abilities. That is why promoting a character can be helpful. I know it doesn't always work. I try to write a bit about every character i nominate.

    One last tidbit as we move on from this point @Satoko Houjou -Kun...

    Your "assuming" that those of us who are active on JDF are not as "knowledgeable" around certain characters... yes this is true in one facet... but at the end of the day... whether someone votes one way or another... it is still their "Human Right" (under the Universal Declaration of Human Rights Act) to choose however way they decide to choose... regardless how they select a character on whatever reason they feel fit to do so; whether it is cos they know the character well, or the series well, or the little or more they know... it's still up to the "individual" on how they vote... that's what makes these elimination games extra great or frustrating... and why you and I (and the thousands upon thousands out in the Animeverse) continue to be gluttons for punishment and keep coming back for more...
