Love Live! The School Idol Movie's U.S. Theater List Revealed

Film distribution company Azoland Pictures revealed the theatrical list on Saturday for the U.S. screening of the Love Live! The School Idol Movie film. Specific dates and times for each theater are listed at the above link.

The film will premiere in most of the theaters on September 12, although the Downtown Independent in Los Angeles will host a screening on September 11. Advance tickets are available for purchase for some of the theaters. Azoland Pictures noted that the screening will have "exclusive bonus footage," and there will be items given away at the screenings.

Spoiler: Plot summary of the film

The story of the film begins after the events of the second season, at the graduation ceremony of the third-year students. Knowing that the graduation of the third-year members means the end of μ's, the nine girls take a walk around the school filled with memories. However, when the students attempt to leave the school gates, a single email is sent to them, and the curtain on a new story for μ's begins.

The film premiered in Japan on June 13.

In 2010, the anime studio Sunrise, Lantis, and ASCII Media Works' Dengeki G's Magazine launched Love Live! as a self-described "ultimate user-participation project" that lets its fans vote on the future of the fictional idols. A series of music CDs and animated music videos then followed. The members of the project announced in 2012 that a full anime series had been green-lit for the following year. The second season of the anime was announced in June 2013.

Crunchyroll streamed both seasons as they aired in Japan. NIS America announced in April that it will release the first and second seasons of the anime with an English dub. NIS America is also handling the theatrical release for Love Live! The School Idol Movie.

Let's see... we met just under a year ago... she told me she liked me in September or so... we changed our Facebook status in November or so... so we averaged out the date of coupling to be October 20.

Update: Kay and I have booked tickets for Melbourne. Our uni shit atm is too busy to deal with a 12 hour drive one way.

 

Ouch. We have multiple assignments due in the next few weeks, and Kay's only about half way through the first season. Hoping that we'll be able to get through it without dying of stress. XD
