LEVEL5 comcept will be based in Osaka. Level-5 president and CEO Akihiro Hino serves as the CEO, and comcept founder Keiji Inafune is COO.

Infaune founded comcept in December 2010. The company released its first title, Mighty No. 9, in June 2016. Comcept is also involved in Studio 4°C's RedAsh -GEARWORLD- anime short that screened last year as part of the Anime Tamago 2017 project.

LEVEL5 comcept also revealed its first project, a smartphone game titled Dragon & Colonies.
