Last Person to Post Wins

Odd who knows, it came from a post of Karma's that Sev edited so who knows what it originally said now.

Not an art person, well that doesn't really matter as this was a past topic, though it did get a few responses so it did the job nicely.

 

The Asylum is the perfect place for "odd" topics.

 

Odd, you haven't seen anything unless you can recall uromov and his posts in this thread. Though I he predates you by a large amount of time.

 

Yeah urmomov was an older member that stuck around for a while but never managed to make it here, he became inactive not long before the fall of the last site. His posts usually consisted of topics revolving around blood eg "blood for the blood god" vids, warhammer pics, team fortress 2 footage and other random vids.

He was the main poster  of this thread before I joined, the Sev and I overtook him.

 

Yep, gone are the days of continuous madness that never ends. Well the forum is still yet to hit its peak in usage yet as hours go by and no new response some times. Given time it should get more active, and thats when hopefully this thread will thrive again.

 

It's weird cos the load times are much faster now and posting is much easier, so would have thought this place would be more active. Well, the site is still young, only time will time.

 

Well it is only us regulars for now, sure this'll happen again later but at least there should be an influx of new members that post from time to time. Somehow we have to draw more people to the forums to post, any plans?

Some people have said they dont like the layout of the new forum or its functionality. Plus, the streaming site was what attracted most people to the site originally and then they would just register on the forum after that. With DT being locked down to the public we're getting less people there, which means less registrants here.

 

Streaming vids was the only reason I was with our original site to begin with, so with the privacy it is unfortunate but that is the sad truth with our forums, although we have been getting at least 1 new "member" everyday according to the newest member function but at most they usually only give them self an avatar before never being heard from again.

 

A post or two, most of the time when I click newest member all I see are blank avatars so a lot of them don't even get that far. Hell I'm surprised that they register at all on this site since they don't care enough to even give them a representative character/image. Previous way not quite sure what you are getting at but we'll see what happens.

We need to use persuasion to get others to start posting.

Well it was until a new member joined and posted in the welcome new members thread, at least it stood true for the couple of hours I posted it before they joined. Hmm I get the feeling that we should go flood that thread with welcomes for anyone that actually has an avatar and makes that post, either that or wait and see if they continue to post.
