    2D only came along because its much cheaper than 3D, much less jankier too if you have a capable rigger. Her music is...
    I was a fan of her earliest stuff as Cali. Her original Alcatraz was real good too. But in general I don't exactly like her music. Her shiposts as C-man were good for an april fools.
    No idea about juniper never encountered her.

    I actually haven't caught up on Calli music for a few years. Been meaning to. Could have been to her panel at Crunchyroll Expo the other year, but I think I would genuinely have got hearing loss. That con was a mess.
    Alcatraz was so good. The production values. So glad it went viral and led to me finding her channel.

    She recently did a song for the hidden gem manga one piece.... It was very well received and Oda something praised her work. I hated it too. Nothing like her early stuff. Not sure if I ever saw her before Cali but finding alcatraz after the fact was fun

    I saw that. I just think it's a shame she couldn't do it as Dice, rather than doing official content for a franchise she loves behind a persona she doesn't even own.
    It was the inverse for me lmao. Kay walked in passing her phone with the first Calli song playing to me like "Is this Demondice?". Was neat to see her get into something big and being there before it happened.

    That I agree with. These songs technically aren't hers so if something were to happen then too bad. Everyone would still know but not being able to legally say it was you would suck. Unless said contract ends on terrible terms I don't think all connections would be lost.
    Although I am sad to see her love something like this series. I thought you liked her because she had good taste or something.
    I haven't really had that experience yet. Although Gura's past was something I enjoyed a shitpost from immensely, didn't put two and two together myself.

    Ikr, the idol industry is disgusting.
    She has some good taste like JoJo and Made In Abyss, but I mainly just like her music. The sass of her voice and the wit of her lyrics are just so nice.
    I know nothing about other vtuber backgrounds. Is Gura anyone notable?

    Idol industry is an easy scapegoat which is why its the old faithful.
    havent seen jojo, and made in abyss got really boring. Golden city felt like a mistake to me. no more shock, all impact was lost. I think I prefer her panicked screams. Comes out of nowhere. I laughed at her losing her shit over an eroge. Had to be unarchive due to reasons...
    Gura was Senzawa, I only kknew her drunk singing shitposts but apparently she streamed too. I didn't know that bunk drunk gremlin got places.

    I don't know any of streams but there were plenty of clips going to great length for her screaming for that eroge. She was playing with the R18 patch so nice for her chat.
    She had such hits as Kiss your homies and other cursed drunk shit.
