maybe i should do a gameplay comparison for the starters. i only used bulbasaur when i payed that game.

 

Technically, that's the best starter, since you have the easiest time beating the gyms with it. Charizard's overrated... uh oh.

 

serious question though, the internet has been discussing that its charmeader who is the best starter. was it just a front to cover the difficult path of choosing charmeader or its because you spent too much effort beating the game using charmeader?

true that i beat the game earlier than my brother who picked charmander as his starter.

 

Charizard's dual-type weakness easily makes him a loser compared to Blastoise.

 

so i take the "i used the weak starter to beat the game makes it the best start because of effort" as an explanation why the internet crazes charmander.

Yeah, it's a shame he's not a true dragon. But at least that means he can't be killed as easily by WarGreymon's dramon killers if he's a Digimon.

Um actually, I have pokemon yellow and Pikachu is the hardest starter, have you ever tried to beat Brock with an electric type?

Pretty effing hard, had to catch five pokemon and double their levels.

true and and it even doesnt help that all you can catch before passing brock's gym are ratattas and nidorans.

 

If there's one Pokemon even more overrated than Charizard... ho boy.
