Kodansha Comics Lists Cosplay Animal, Beauty Bunny Manga for Digital Release

Kodansha Comics is listing the first volumes of Watari Sakou's Cosplay Animal and Mari Yoshino's Beauty Bunny manga for digital release on August 15.

Kodansha Comics describes Cosplay Animal:

For nineteen-year-old Rika, cosplay is her life! And as now she's finally out of high school she must bear the weight of an ambition she can't share with anyone … One day, she meets a high-school student who she seems to get along with on a dating site, and before she knows it, she's arranged to meet up with him IRL. The only catch is that he still thinks she's in high school herself. He's younger than her, but he also seems to be her type… Can she really dive into a relationship while she's still cosplaying?!

Sakou launched the manga in Kodansha's Dessert magazine in 2004, and ended it in 2010. Kodansha published 14 compiled book volumes for the series.

Kohane Yuzuhara is a 17-year-old high-school student who doesn't have any interest in makeup. When her mom whisks her away on a sudden move back to Tokyo, though, Kohane gets called ugly on her first day at her new school by her hot classmate Iori Yashima. Iori's a rich boy whose family owns Yashima Cosmetics, and he can do makeup like a pro. Kohane's had it with Iori's massive ego until, one day, he transforms her by doing her makeup. Could Kohane be starting to develop an interest in cosmetics? This “makeup Cinderella love story” is the latest work from Mari Yoshino, author of Peach Heaven!

Yoshino launched the manga in Dessert in 2003, and ended it in 2015. Kodansha published 13 compiled book volumes for the series.

Kodansha Comics is also digitally publishing Yoshino's Peach Heavenmanga. The company released the fourth volume digitally on July 18. Yoshino began the manga in the March 2007 issue of Kodansha's Dessert magazine and ended the series in the September 2012 issue. Kodansha published the 13th and final compiled volume in January 2013.
