    Okay so this round has been running for too long, so since both Mady and Kiri don't appear to have been online recently I'll start the new round. But @Sir-Maddy how do you want to go about this rounds winner though, TRG's vote came more than 2 hours after when it should have ended so I'm not sure if it counts or what.
    Anyway for the sake of keeping things running normally the next round begins

    How did Mikoto even get into this? She isn't a musican. When did she even play an instrument? In any case while I like Misaka more as a character I can't vote for her over someone who's music is actually a part of her character and not just a side thing done once or twice at best. This is June Tunes people vote for musicans not just your favorite character!

    So she doesn't actually perform, thats it you just made up my mind since I haven't watched either of these and no one has linked any content of them playing the instruments.

    I was going by the time it usually ends which depending on daylight saving time is either 2 or 3 pm, when I started this round it was already 8:20 so it was given 5 hours too long at least, Maddy started the last round a bit after 3 so even by that time it was too late. Still waiting on the definitive call from her though for whether or not it'll count as a tie.

    Super, Misaka did play the Violin in Railgun, but only once. Not trying to say you should have voted for Misaka (I'm not voting for her), just correcting you on what you said.

    As Heizen and i both said she does play the violin in Railgun. The violin is an instrument which is very fickle and requires great skill and large amounts of time to make beautiful music. It's not just some instrument you can pickup and play like some other instruments, and not everyone's go-to instrument when playing (90% of the time it's straight to the guitar)

    There is a difference between playing an instrument and performing, she may play it well and in front of her friends or whatever I don't know the specifics, but if the other character is in live performances in front of large crowds then I'm going to vote for them unless people start providing some footage to change my mind. Seriously I haven't seen either of these shows, I'm going from what I've heard so anything could impress me if you provide the scenes.

    Fair enough, give me time and i shall find it. also for the record on her performance: Mikoto did it live in front of the school during a student recruitment thing so a considerable amount of people where there

    @Supernatural-Knight I'll let his vote slide for once as he has been known to have Internet problems.
    So that would make the previous round a tie.
    I don't think K1 will be on so @BK-201 can represent FES.
    And since Tsubasa was my nomination, it wouldn't be fair if I represented her so @Heizengard can represent her.

    Even if she plays the Violin that one time it's still not really a part of her character. It was just a one time thing for that scene so to me she still loses to the girl who seriously plays music for most of her series. That one scene was enough to make her decent enough to nominate but not enough to beat a real music girl.

    This is about the time I'd expect TRG to say he wasn't having any computer issues, it was just the time of the day he signed into the forums and voted on what he expected to be the current round. I don' think excuses should really be made for the sake of keeping everything fair but it was called this way so I guess I can't protest.
    Also I agree with Meta about his Misaka paragraph, that one scene, which wasn't even really animated because of using random other shots is easier, doesn't make her a very strong contender.

    You know what, this sucks. Youtube doesn't seem to have Otsu's performances at all english subbed. I found 1 performance with spanish subs or something so I'll go with an unorthodox motivator.
    Gintama had a live event where her VA actually sang and danced to her character's songs so I present to you just that.

    If anyone actually watches it you can start at around the 30 min mark and stop watching at around the 49 minute mark
