    im with you on this one meta. yes people get irritated by how makoto acted in the series but thats because of this bitch named *sigh* SEKAI! he is just an undecisive go-with-the-flow guy that been put to the most perfect scenario for naive bitches to fall for his blandness. if its anyone that needs hating from that series its EFFIN SEKAI.

    In the end though that was more his fault. It's brought up a few times during the show that Aragi's greatest flaw is he's basically throw his life away to save everyone by himself. He's connected to Shinobu so bringing her along can't be helped but otherwise he always tries to solve everything himself and pretty much get himself killed trying to do it. Rarely does he seem to really try to find a solution that involves him actually coming out of it all alive or unharmed and takes his near immortal body for granted. So yeah getting the shit beaten out of him like that was partly his fault for choosing that method to help her. Also the Medusa incident wasn't her fault either. Nadeko is just a bitch who went Yandere the moment Aragi got a girlfriend which could have been anyone not just Hitagi. In fact Hitagi is the one who saved him with that time she bought and calling "that guy" for help.

    I'm not saying she's the most pleasant person in the world but she's not really that bad and mostly just seems realy awkward at expressing herself. The only real problem with her I can think of is just like Aragi himself she takes advantage of the fact he's nearly immortal to physically punish him more than any sane person would normal people. But given how Aragi is probably one of the most stubborn idiots in existence (due to the fact pretty much nothing can ever sway him from his self sacrificing plans) maybe he could use some extreme punishment.
