Ended JAN Trick or Treat 2017

Well I got the Overlord piece by coincidence in a completely unrelated thread. "Damn" was all I could say after overthinking it.
5 was interesting but not too hard, after I had gone through some of the notable staff of the past of course.

Found them all for that time, more to go now. When will you finish?


I found 9 easily enough but 7 and 8 is taking me longer. Not longer than 4 and 5 have yet though.

 

Mhm that was a bit of fun, but now I am done with this.
But playing this made me feel incredibly nostalgic after looking through all those old threads for hints. Even if I didn't interact with everyone I was seeing posting back then, seeing their names again sure brings back memories. Truly makes me feel that I've been with this ever changing community for 6 years now.

Good game Spor. But I am sad now because I saw that this was run last year and I must have got busy since I didn't even get the participation trophy. I know I stuck to the soul hunting with my free time, but I feel like I missed out by not playing this game last year.
I'm looking forward to playing this again next year already.

 

@Vashnik 8 sure is easy, if you know where to look. There are only a handful of significant goodbyes to mention, we had a choice of maybe 3 at most. Truly locating it was harder than finding the person in question. I stumbled upon it by complete accident when scrolling really old posts.
9 was the first I found from the newest three, the clue was easy to follow. As for 7 it took me a while to find because I was rushing though my thoughts instead of taking my time to think through them.

@Vashnik I thought that too, until I found it. After finding number 7 I checked the first post to see that Spor had edited it, actually he edited it quite a number of times. Because of the initial wording we overlook it and since we already know the rules we don't check that part of the first post. It really was well hidden.
I did leave you a hint as well:

Being patient is key, while thinking for the next location to check it just happens to appear for us.

 

In the original post I mentioned the FIRST rotator image didn't count. But nothing about the others.

 

Haha, exactly it was all a feint. You lured us into a false sense of comfort by knowing it wasn't included in the first image. Only to hide it in the last one was it? I liked that hiding spot.

So you left a hint as well. I'll be damned, not even Ventura was enough to help.


Although I think a congratulations should go out to @TrickyMickie especially for obtaining 6 pieces of candy. For not knowing the old staff, I think missing those two pieces of candy are perfectly acceptable since neither have posted anything recently.

 

I may have to restrain from using old staff as hiding places and maybe just using them as some bonus locations for extra credit.
