It's Battle Stations For Gerard Butler In The Hunter Killer Trailer
Do you trust Gerard Butler to stop World War III? Well, regardless of the answer, he'll give it his best shot in sub thriller Hunter Killer. The trailer for the movie has docked.



Butler here is Joe Glass, captain of an American submarine deep under the Arctic Ocean. While on the hunt for a fellow vessel that has sent a distress call, he discovers a secret Russian coup bubbling up, and has to assemble a Navy SEAL team to help rescue the kidnapped president.

That's not as easy as it sounds – actually, it doesn't sound easy to begin with – as he'll have to make it through enemy waters with battleships and other subs looking to blow him to Davy Jones' Locker.

Common, Gary Oldman, Linda Cardellini and Toby Stephens are all part of the eclectic cast for the movie, directed by Donovan Marsh. It'll ping out cinemas' radar on 2 November.
