The official website for Sunao Katabuchi's In This Corner of the World film revealed on Thursday that the anime's Japanese Blu-ray Disc and DVD releases will include English subtitles. The releases will ship on September 15. Bandai Visual began streaming a promotional video of television commercials for the releases on Thursday.

The special-edition two-disc Blu-ray Disc release will include a case with illustration by assistant director Chie Uratani, special inner jacket, and 100-page booklet for 9,800 yen (about US$88). The main disc will feature the film with Japanese and English subtitles, pilot film, crowdfunding supporter event's "Fuyu no Kioku" episode, promotional videos, and "Suzu no Arigatō." The bonus disc will include 240 minutes of extra content, including making-of, "Non, Suzu ni Naru" interview and making-of, soundtrack live event, Nerima Anime Carnival 2015 talk event, Kure City Museum talk event, premium preview event, release talk event, and stage greeting videos.

The regular Blu-ray Disc and DVD releases will bundle an eight-page booklet and include the same content as the special Blu-ray Disc release's main disc. The regular Blu-ray Disc will cost 4,800 yen (US$43), and the DVD will cost 3,800 yen (US$34).

The anime based on Fumiyo Kono's To All The Corners Of The World (Kono Sekai no Katasumi ni) manga opened in Japan on November 12 and earned over 2 billion yen (about US$17.58 million) at theaters. Shout! Factory and Funimation Films announced in May that they are partnering to release the film in United States theaters. The movie is set to screen in the U.S. on August 11. The film will open in the United Kingdom on June 28.
