    I can see how these character designs would encourage the Japanese to enlist

    I mean the anime following in Japan is huge [obviously] but whenever things like this comes out support goes up immensely. The same can be seen for the country school that the one in Gin no Saji was based off of, the railway and inn that were the inspiration behind the ones seen in Hanasaku Iroha [which actually got that large of a following that they held the festival that happened in the anime at least once since its release], and if I remember correctly I think something in girls und panzer as well.
    Basically if it has an anime representation it will do better in Japan but I agree with the final line of the article
    "It's worth mentioning that if someone needs to be motivated by an anime character to join a military branch, perhaps that person is not suited to be in the military."

    As for Red's I have no idea how the hell you even come across a game like that, and I'm just as confused as to why the play options allows you to dress the naked girl in the bath, especially in a school uniform.
