tsundere anime are not her type. *noted*

a type who wants to be confused in the get go of watching first ep *noted*

we can all agree that we felt empty after watching season 2 right? im still into the process of reading the novels and there are details left in the anime.

Definitely, especially since they tried to cram two novels in the second season (whereas the first season was only one novel).
I understand most of what happens is internal dialogues, so they couldn't really stretch either book to make a full season, but I still think it may have been better than what they did.

Coincidentally, I finished the fifth volume yesterday, starting sixth tonight and it has a completely different feel than that of the anime (especially since they rewrote certain parts and added/removed a few characters).

thanks @Kaede for the recommendations but after further analysis I have understood that her shallow and childish taste in anime trumps her love for the vampire genre so because none of the anime you recommended gravitate around comedy from the start she probably won't appreciate them but I promise I'll try them anyway thanks again everyone for the comments.

    Dubbed Vampire Animu:

Shiki (although, it's somewhat lackluster to begin with, and the dub VA's are incredibly annoying).
Kekkai Sensen (if you're looking for stunning visuals..)
Owari no Seraph (people seem to like it -- it's pretty much THE vampire anime, second to Hellsing)
Dance in The Vampire Bund (it was fairly entertaining)
Diabolik Lovers (I, was unfortunate to have watched this with my sister. This might be something you want her to do alone.)
Servamp (quite new and flashy, it's pretty gud)

While this series isn't technically orientated around vampires, I thought I should note it, given the company present:

    Negima. (huehuehuehuehuehuehue)

    Similar to Inobato:
    Chuunibyou
Kokoro Connect (Jun Maeda -- dank)
Angel Beats (Jun Maeda -- dank)
Charlotte (Jun Maeda -- midlife crisis -- still dank)
Suzuimiya Haruhi no Yuuutsu (kind of..)

    Monthly Girls:
Ouran Highschool Host Club (immediately thought of OHSHC)
I can't think of any other dubbed anime like Monthly Girls off the top of my head.

These are some really good recommendations, thank you! really this will help a lot. I'll see what she thinks.

and it seems like I might have sold the whole vampire thing a bit too much, she is a fan yes but she likes comedy just as much if not more.

Everything Negima and below has comedy.

There is some comedy sprinkled throughout the vampire anime I listed.

Also, I forgot to mention the ones you MUST watch with your sister.

Kiss x Sis and Yosuga no Sora.

I thought about it, and I've some anime similar to Monthly Girls in mind:

Yamada-kun and the 7 Witches (similar comedy, albeit with a female lead more like Nozaki)
    D-Frag (^)
Haganai (why is this delinquent trend continuing? I did not plan this)
-shit, why am I naming harems? Looks like I'm back to my dubious self-
The Devil is a Part-Timer (similar feel and comedy)
Lucky Star (comedy with wil' chibi blobs -- comedy is different, but both are equally played up in terms of laugh factor)
    Nichijou (^)
WataMote (awkward characters attempting to fit into a social world -- "There are two types of people in this world, those who cringe to Watamote, and those who laugh to WataMote.")

Not sure if you're trolling or not at this point.

I'll mention that Dance in the Vampire bund depicts full frontal nudity of a Loli, as I seem to recall, so it might not be the best idea to watch with your sister.

I'm going to add Moon Phase.

--Okay here's an older vampire anime that is the comedy genre. There is a funimation dub and the main couple is a male human and a female vampire. The manga and anime differ greatly luckily for you, I think your sister will prefer the anime since it's comedy focused. The girl wears car ears the whole anime while the manga she puts them on for a second. Let me say I haven't watched the anime in over ten years so I am only remembering it's surface. I don't believe there is anything weird for siblings to watch I watched it with my older brother but both of us like anime.

--One good thing for you is that the official dub company has a YouTube channel where they have the whole first episode dubbed that she can watch for free before you go and decide to download or buy the entire series.

Here is the link to the YouTube episode 1.

I honestly don't remember why the episode is titled what it is. The two are not siblings I'm guessing it's because in the Japanese the main girl called the main character onii-san. They are not siblings but if you want to be sure there's nothing awkward you can always watch the episode first and choose afterwards if you want to show it to your sister. I watch a lot of anime with my older brother who is married so I know the feeling of having to pre watch a lot of anime.

Hmmm... Try Durarara!!? I know it doesn't have vampires or very little romance; may have some comedy in it (been a bit since I've watched it). I'm sorry if it's not that great of a recommendation. And perhaps Log Horizon?
