How fast is your internet?

The internet connection from my university is quite good, only 5 ping and freaking fast upload speed xD

 

Bright House Networks (formerly Time Warner Cable, before 2003) on the Turbo 15 plan. Faster than usual tonight (at almost 1AM eastern):

I've actually been thinking of upgrading recently. Maybe then Youtube would stop being terrible.

yes, work is the best. sadly i don't want to check my home one as there was a new housing block was added to my neighborhood, its stressing the existing infrastructure.

 

My connection at work is like 5 down 2 up. =P It's awful.

No complaints so far. Even the technician who came over to figure out why our internet was so slow (because of a bunch of frayed wires) was a great guy. Cablevision was filled with a bunch of tossers that were about as helpful as a broken crutch.

Also, out here you have two options: Comcast or Frontier. The latter in which if your internet goes out (lightning, outage, technical issues), it's out for at least 2 weeks

 

Technicians aren't the problem. It's the Comcast customer service department that has a serious problem, especially with the Call Center policies they're enforcing.

Anyways, here's today's speedtest:

I'm paying for a 50 Mbps connection, so that extra 7.67 Mbps fluctuates quite a bit, but the connection rarely drops below 50 Mbps. Were I still on AT&T's DSL services (the only other broadband alternative), I would never have that reliable of a connection, much less that much of a speed boost. It would always be below advertised speeds and the connection would drop every 1 - 4 hours, regardless of time. Also, I'm so glad I'm not in Comcast territory. I'd hate to have a problem and experience the customer service quality that Comcast is infamous for.

I'm a happy camper. But anyway, I've had multiple calls with Comcast's customer service with a few problems. I guess the call centers actually care about WV?

 

My internet it's package 150MB from softbank JP.
