High School DxD New

And with only 4 eps left and given what’s happened so far, I think it’s safe to say, I agree with everyone else on the ecchiness lv being worse than in the 1st season. The 1st season did a PERFECT job of balancing it with the story but New does not. The story has potential, it could still pull it off but so far, it’s looking like we need a season 3 for it to do that. I still like DxD but I do wish they would have kept the ecchi and story perfectly balanced with each other. Well 4 more eps left, here is hope things story wise get GOOD and FAST to make it all balance out. Now, where’s ep 9 already? Should be up soon if I’m not mistaken, or maybe it was help back thanks to labor day which would SOO suck.

Ep 10
Learned some of Akeno's backstory. Theres a lot more in Volume 7 if the anime ever gets that far.
But we did learn of Akeno's past. And the Ascalon! Holy Sword meets devil, they must have done some heavy modifying to get that to work. Also Even though Issei thinks he's putting Rias first, he really isnt. All she wants is to be treated like a normal girl.
Ep 11
Conference got off to a good start then this Katerea Leviathan bitch just HAD to ruin the fun.
Not too sure on the relation to Serafall Leviathan though other than Katerea is the previous gen related to the actual Maou [the dead one] But anyway...
Gasper's power is indeed awesome. Turns total badass after drinking Issei's blood.

Next ep is the conclusion, finale of Volume 4 as well and I can tell you its good. Azazel and Vali are good but wait till you see what happens.

There better be a damn season 3 because there is some serious Issei development in Volume 5.

Like I've said all along its all accurate to the story. I'm sorry that you dont like the increased ecchiness but it's there and thats how it was written. The anime is MAYBE 5% ecchier than the novel is basically bc its animated instead of text.

Gasper really rustles my jimmies. He brings something new to DxD and he is doing it right.
It was awesome first seeing him and falling for the trap, but I still would have hated him if he was a gurl cause loli.
Now he's a crossdresser and ruins it.

If we found out about his gender through dress break I would have died.
He's amazingly badass though.

Also, Josh, I don't think that all the pictures should be spoiled, I was lag scrolling hardcore over here cause of all the huge pictures. We've all seen it, so don't think there is a need to repost them here. Maybe a few scenes that were your favorite, but that is just a bit to much.

I actually like the increased ecchiness but it's the plot not being on par or as good as S1's plot and that the plot and ecchi aren't on par that's made New somewhat disappointing, leaving a taste in my mouth for more of what the 1st season had. I do like new and all the new characters etc.

 

The last episode of season 2 was epic!

 

Guess I forgot but finished DxD new. They better give us a season 3 because otherwise that would SOO SUCK! lol
