Gundam Build Fighters Try Island Wars to Stream With English Subtitles on August 21

The Gundam.info portal site announced on Monday that the site will begin streaming Gundam Build Fighters Try Island Wars, the television anime special for the Gundam Build Fighters Try anime series, on August 21 for a limited time. The stream will be English-subtitled.

The special will also premiere in Japan on TV Tokyo on August 21.


Gundam.info describes the anime:
The Try Fighters team have been invited to the Nielsen Labs on a tropical island, as test pilots for Yajima Trading's new battle system. However, due to bugs in the new system, they find themselves on standby at the lodging facilities.

As they wait expectantly at the resort-like lodging facilities, Sekai and the others encounter the trio of Shia, Minato, and Gyanko, who have also been invited as test pilots. And a puzzling mystery awaits the rivals who have been reunited on the tropical island...

Now the Try Fighters face their biggest challenge!

BACK-ON is performing the anime's theme song "The Last One." The band previously performed theme songs for both Gundam Build Fighters and Gundam Build Fighters Try.

The first Gundam Build Fighters television anime series aired from October 2013 to March 2014. Gundam Build Fighters Try aired from October 2014 to April 2015. Gundam.info streamed both series with English subtitles as they aired in Japan. Right Stuf is releasing both the first Gundam Build Fighters season and Gundam Build Fighters Try on Blu-ray Disc and DVD in North America. The first season shipped on August 2, and the second season is slated for September 6. Both releases have the English dub and the Japanese dub with English subtitles.

The Twitter account for the series had announced in April 2015 that the franchise would get several OVA projects.​
