Another thing I will add to my list of dislikes.

 

When a company announces they're going to release a series dubbed then...doesn't

 

I am pretty sure this applies to all married men....

When my wife puts me on a fiber diet than complains that I fart to much! I just can't help it....

 

Comments like this just keep pushing me away from the idea of marriage

Btw is it true spouses get in arguements over which side of the toilet paper is suppose to roll?

Yes and it does not end there.......

What sides the top sheet is supposed to be on is a big topic in my household. Is the pattern supposed to be facing up or down I say up she says down.

Also for the TP its the string starts at the top not the bottom it is more convenient like that... we amazingly agree on that one.....

 

Thread: Marriage. The idea that an expensive piece of paper is supposedly required to show that you love your SO and wish to spend your life with them? Even though many people go back on it anyway?

Also, Thread: The monopoly that crazily jacks up the price on the intrinsically worthless stone, the diamond.

I am confused are you saying that there is a thread that we can discuss this on or that what really grinds your gears are married couples and their fat diamond rings?

Society is nothing more than mass insanity. Normality is the common, accepted form of insanity. With that being said, the expensive paper mafia refers to I assume to be the mariage papers. Maririage costs nothing, but to have it legally recognized costs money cause someone said so. That is according to my blind assumption of life.
Sadly, diamonds are hihhly worthless and expensive. What makes it worse is the fact they are simply tight carbon atoms. Mot even a worthwhile element.

 

now that we are on the topic of marriage/SO/gf\bf/partners,
it really irritates me when an outing just gets canceled coz a partner doesnt allow the other partner to go.

Buddy of mine had to quit playing hockey beer league with us because his Fiancee though 2 nights out a week was to much..... worst thing is his house is literally 50 feet from the rink.

To me that would be a big psycho red flag alert but he still wants to marry her.... she must have some good redeeming qualities..... for him to look past her sillyness....

thats just the example i needed and it is happening right now. me and my college friends planned a summer get away and also serves as a gathering as we havent seen each other for a long time. tsk our female friends are not allowed by their partners to come coz well they just dont want them to.

Yea every year we have this hockey tournament that we go to, first year we went our GF/Wives came BIGGEST MISTAKE EVER....

now we are 8 years in and its a lot funner when they are not there....

So I assume some of your friends GF/Wives are not to keen on them not being able to go.... how ridiculous i bet there the type of GF that wants to go to a bachelor party with their man to......

You know I never understood how someone would want to spend all of their free time with the same person all the time...... I cherish my time when my wife leaves and goes to the gym does it mean I dont love her or want dont want to spend time with her? No its just I am my own person with my own hobbies she has her own things to.... I just don't understand....

 

well for your situation, its just like a boys-night-out kind of thing only its hockey so it really is way better without the wives.

my case is a college group friends that went through together graduating the course. i think its not that harmful for a relationship to just let your partner go for this kind of meet up. i know being protective is also associated with showing love and care to some degree but that just only show being a control freak.

 

To me personally I think it shows more how insecure they are about their partner and themselves more then Love and Care. but that's just my personal feeling on the matter. lol unless the partner did something awful like cheat before or something like that I don't get it lol....

 

welp insecurity is one of the possibilities. could be that partner did the cheating and he just dont trust his/her partner to be alone with a group of people coz he/she would do it.

That is very true as well..... all in all just to say that let your damn partner enjoy his life without you for once in a while for Christ sake..... It will probably do the relationship some good anyways!

the fact that I love hot sauce but it gives me so many bad gas cramps an hours after I eat them the horror the pain!
