Spending seven hours learning a new math subject only to have the educational program that your college uses in place of actual teachers say "fuck you, you learned it in a different way than how I wanted you to. Start over."

 

Blame the coders.

 

Thread: When people don't know the correct meaning of a word/phrase, but stick to it like glue.
Eg, "Freedom of speech."
What it means: The government is not allowed to block, erase, or censor something that a person or group says.
What it doesn't mean: "I can say whatever I want, even if it's stupid and offensive, but you other citizens aren't allowed to argue against me."

Eg2, "Black Lives Matter" (the phrase, not anything that the group or any persons do regarding it. I'm not getting into that here.)
What it means: Black people are being attacked and killed by racist people (particularly police, who are not magically free from corruption), and it needs to stop. Their lives matter, just like people of any other skin colour.
What it doesn't mean: "Only black lives matter."

Whoops. Forgot my quote marks up there. Just quoting what the robots from a game I played would say, whenever they get destroyed the robots blame the coders for the error in the robots' programming.

 

I hate how my college blocks everything.

wow schools has come a long way since I've been there back in my days the school computers could only be used to play video games like Solitaire and mine sweep..... also that secret hidden game in excel 97.. but that was about it oh and netscape navigator was the web browser and Alta Vista & Metacrawler was our search engine... awww I am sooooo old

 

Don't feel so badly about being old.
I remember back in the day when Colleges were having trouble due to DOOM multiplayer taking up all the bandwidth and had to make programs to automatically remove the game from computers linked to the college network.
... well, actually, I remember just reading about that not long ago, as a fun fact, that's all.
