Let's face it, a lot of these elimination games are very spoilery.

Either the character itself is a spoiler (e.g. the calamity from Another), or the back story is a spoiler (e.g. February for couples or villainous july).

for your lie in april anime, i know that it had a sad ending but i dont know how died. that said, it would be safe to nominate the entirety of the series rather than a character from an anime.

Saddest anime endings/ deaths? Damn! I'd be worse with that than I am with Feb's current theme! I'm not an emotional person when it comes to that and when I see a death on a movie, t.v. show, or an anime, I'm like: " Them's the breaks. Shit happens." If the saddest anime endings/ deaths theme does happen, I might have to sit that one out.

 

I do prefer to keep it about characters myself.

 

I agree with Negi, it should be called April of the Dead, dedicated to characters who died in the anime.
