Finding Dory gets a new trailer
For their next trick, Pixar are heading back to the water. After an initial teaser trailer debuting back in November, here’s the first full trailer for Finding Dory, the sequel to Finding Nemo.

With original director Andrew Stanton returning as ship’s captain, the Disney-owned studio is presumably hoping to repeat the waves of critical and commercial acclaim that the 2003 original earned. The tale of a tiny clownfish lost in the depths of the ocean was at one point the highest-grossing animated film of all time, pocketing a cool $936m at the box-office, and bagged an Oscar for Best Animated Feature to boot.

This sequel, which sees Ellen DeGeneres and Albert Brooks return to voice Dory and Marlin, respectively, focusses on the amnesia-stricken Pacific regal blue tang in her quest to find her parents. Mr and Mrs Dory Sr. will be voiced by Diane Keaton and Eugene Levy, who join a host of new voice talent, including Idris Elba, Dominic West, and Michael Sheen.

This is Pixar’s only film of 2016, following last year’s one-two punch of Inside Out and The Good Dinosaur (the former fresh off another Best Animated Feature at last weekend’s Oscars). 2017 sees the return of the studio’s highly profitable toy advert franchise in Cars 3, and a new Day Of The Dead-inspired adventure entitled Coco.

Finding Dory, meanwhile, is slated for a July 19, 2016 release.
