Man, I was struggling to find couples to nominate. This ain't exactly my subject of expertise.

 

Romance is one of my favorite genres so I could probably have listed a lot of good ones. Unfortunately with anime a lot of couples don't go much further than just starting to date or kissing once.

Or that they end with the MC entering a misunderstanding and having his whole entire harem chase after him to exact their vengeance.

 

That's even worse. These guys (harem MCs) have 5+ beautiful girls throwing themselves at them every day and are still somehow virgins when the show ends. That should be impossible.

 

There's also the fact that the MC is indecisive and it's common in Japan that they only choose one since they view polygamy as obscene/weird/other words that fit this category.

 

Polygamy isn't exactly widely accepted anywhere that I know of. If your gonna chose one thats fine the problem comes with MCs that don't pick a girl and will never pick a girl because their not about that life so you end up with no romance, no sex, and lots and lots of built up sexual frustration.
