Here is my 2cents for Ah! My Goddess:
Keiichi Morisato, a college student, has had plenty of times in which things do not go his way (bad luck)- more than that of any average person. Due to this, he gets connected to the Goddess Helpline while trying to make a phone call. Thinking it was a mistake, he decides to hang up and ends up getting a home visit by the Goddess Belldandy.


Her task was to grant Keiichi a wish, to compensate for his bad luck. H could wish for anything he desired, whether it be for women and wealth, or the destruction of the world. After talking to her liking her kindness (she doesn't notice his shortness and average looks), he makes the wish of always being with her. It was unintentional, but it happened and his wish was granted.
Keep in mind: this all happened in Keiichi's room in the men's dormitory. It was just his luck that everyone came back at that time, and found that he broke the rule that no women were allowed in the men's dorm. They all carry off and kick Keichii and Belldandy out.


This is going to take quite a while, since that was the first episode, and I doubt everyone will want to read all this. I will speed it up and hit some points.

Keiichi and Bell find residence at a temple by taking care of it.

They do not sleep together (clean relationship).

Bell's older sister comes out of concern. She (Urd) tries to get the couple closer romantically. While Bell can fast travel through mirrors, Urd can fast travel by television units.


Skuld is the younger sister of Bell. Skuld, is also concerned for Bell, but (initially) wishes to separate the couple's relationship. She can fast travel by using water or liquids as a medium.Yes, even a hot cup of tea. She relies less on magic and more on the things she builds.


Other women try to get between Bell and Keiichi, but fail.

For this series, Bell and Keiichi have a rather clean relationship. Both of them are good people. Bell gets jealous just like any other woman would, but it is unintentional. She has no malicous actions, and she fully trusts Keiichi, which Keiichi does not betray that trust. That does not mean she cannot get angry.


And there are those moments in which Keiichi gets put into an odd situation, primarily due to Bell's sisters. Example: ends up losing all clothes.

And the Trip-and-fall-before-someone-comes-in moments.


Not sure if I explained well enough or convinced anyone, but that was all I could really do without telling the whole story to everyone. It is a combination of romance and comedy, with some action.



Not sure if this is reason enough for you, @Supernatural-Knight and @Cpt_K3nny .

Maybe I stated some good reasons, or maybe I stated nothing.

As a general side note:
I like Bell's face much more now than what it originally was in the manga.

I am glad that there are now other people who are interested in the series. I only hope I have not mislead anyone with my details and reasons.

 

Inuyasha was my first anime obsession! That being said... Inuyasha & Kagome's relationship bugged me in many ways. The subjection beads were kept on Inuyasha the whole series. Both got jealous and jumped to conclusions towards their partner way too easily. They do accept each other as they are currently as opposed to Inuyasha & Kikyo. Rumiko Takahashi has had trouble writing main couples in many of her works. I always preferred her side couples like Sango & Miroku and her couples that never get together Kagura & Sesshomaru. ;_;

Therefore even though I've read only a few chapters, my vote goes to Ah My Goddess.

I think it's gonna rain somewhere, although I watched InuYasha years ago, I was actually debating whether to watch Ah My Goddess or not, but after Core's explanation of how the story goes, I'm convinced

This is a difficult choice Psycho Lady love or Dominant Master love....

I had psycho crazy before although the continuous attention is fun for a while from Psycho Lady love apparently saying I love you to your mom is to much for them to handle and the line of if you don't love me back ill kill myself was a huge turn off although she did tell me she wanted her lady friend to join us once..... Psycho crazy love where does the time goes..... In my defense I walked away from her before it got to much out of hand like the gentlemen that I am I am sure she is making some other dude happy now

as for the other one never experience that type of love my self..... but I bet it would be fun being told what to do once in a while & also maybe have a good spanking if I disobey?

I am thinking about this way to much!

i like the awkward combination of ryu and taiga. they even formed an alliance based from sky legend or something and ended up as a cute couple in the end.
