"Manners," Throne chided as she went to the fridge. "Say please next time. What snack would you like?"

The sound of footsteps came from ahead of Mr Red and his unconscious burden.
"You SURE this is the right way?"
"If you say that one more time I'm going to make sure you sleep in the doghouse tonight!"
"One of these days, Half, one of these days I'm gonna fillet you like a fish."
"But - and this is important - not today."

Two figures came into view, one huge, hairy and muscular with elongated limbs with claws at the ends, and another pale lithe figure who seemed to be playing with a certain severed digit.
"Well, hello there," he called to Mr Red. "You wouldn't happen to be carrying a, er, "shadowy" figure by any chance?"

 

"I'm on a mission. To apprehend this creature. I can't say any more." Syn said. "I'll leave you out of my report, as you seem apprehensive, and we pretend we never met one another. Or we can have some trouble. It's up to you."

 

"Then I guess it's goodbye."
Flair walked a safe distance away until certain the gun arm girl could never give chase then turned to face her.

"You should stop following the orders of those lab people honey, it's not good for your health. I know a man named Dr. Zenma that you people branded a traitor. If you want freedom he can help you.
Flair turned her back and said over her shoulder
"Leave me out of your report honey. You don't want to tell your bosses that the wife of Zenma helped you in your mission. They'll suspect you of treason."

And just like that Flair left in a flash. It was time to find a new home and she knew just the person to talk to.

 

The plants were a handful to deal with, and Zach really didn’t like the acid that was dripping from the walls either. He was able to hack and slash at most of the plants, but they just kept coming. A vine wrapped around his ankle, dragging him to the floor, and started dragging him with it. He dug his claw into the floor, and was struggling to hold on. Then an idea hit him. Zach closed his eyes, and concentrated. He could feel the energy of the metal around him, and he tapped into it. He willed his energy into the metal, and started forming it into spikes.

“Everyone back up, I’m about to impale these damn plants.” Zach said, and he unleashed his will into the metal. It formed spikes that jutted out from the walls, ceiling and floor, and impaled all of the plants in front of them, as well as down the hall. He heard agonizing screams coming from the plants, and then the sound died. All the plants were hanging lifeless, impaled with the metal spikes.

“Well, that takes care of that problem. Yet I have a feeling that there will be more trouble as we continue.”

 

OOT: I AM ALIVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Also hey guys my hours should be back to normal as we now have help and hellweek (my boss leave for vacation) is over. Now for some story

A small girl had run into Frost, she apologized then ran off to play with her friends. Much to my surprise Frost didn't go off on the girl but stood there.
"That girl... Did you she her?"
"Yeah she bumped into you...."
"No" Frost cut me off before i could finish "It looked like she had bangs a different color, almost as if she was wearing a wig"
I looked to she if i could find the girl again but didn't see any kids with abnormal colored hair
"You sure you weren't Imagining anything"
"No I'm sure I saw it"

On seeing the girl my mind went back to a certain day..
Doctor look! It seems these clones from the Crins test subject turned out.
Good, do you see that my girl? It was a success, all thanks to your DNA and our testing. Project Crin will put us at the for-front of attention my dear
Really? You Really mean it?
Yes, once we show these clones have power we will....
Doctor.... the clones they..... are testing negative for the power
What, what do you mean! They share her DNA, We even lengthened the incubation period of the clones why isn't this working

Doctor, maybe it is time we change subjects.....
It was then the labs tried to kill me, they had trianed me and honed my power to try an use it for military clones but it never worked. So they decide to dispose of the 'failed' subject and try the cloning anew. After leaving i didn't learn much of what became of the project but to my knowledge a clone was never successful. But what if this girl was........ I must know.
"Blaze"
"Huh?"
"Find a park bench and sit for a bit, I'll join you"
"Okay what for"
"We are going to find that girl"
"How?!"
"*Sigh* Are you really that big of an idiot? Simple watch the kids till we see her. If she is with a parent we confront them when we see then call or wave to them"
"Oh okay, clever"
"Just shut up and find a seat"

Back at the Foundry

"Ah you damn slave drivers! I finished unloading the boat *pant*"
"Ah good, now you can join our discussion on what to do next"
Atlas had managed to combined the already existing furniture with all the stuff he and others had brought. He arranged the rooms to match the pairing. Blaze and Frost, Echo and Kuro, Himself and Cel. And Miko and Leah when she returned. He left all the personal things for each person to put up themselves
"Now, what you lot think we should do next?"
"Well, we've have been talking and From what echo has told seems that all the money from your old district is being re-routed to the surrounding ones"
"Kuro and I could do a stealth run and get a portion of the cash but...."
"But the other banks would lock down the moment they realized. We need a simultaneous attacks one the surrounding to recover it all"
"And the only way we could do that is if we all worked together. Luckily there are only 5 other districts near there that could hold the funds."
"Well we have any idea on teams for it them"
"2 loud and 3 stealth. Miko and Kuro will make one stealth, Frost and Blaze will make a second, I'll go alone as a stealth. Atlas, Cel, seeing as you two are our tanks I'm sure you can guess what your approaches are going to be"
"Great, i do love being shot at. *sigh* when will you ever come out with something that doesn't have me center stage?"
Atlas was quite for a bit, then he spoke
"I also want to get to tracking down those that turned on us and the ones that ran away. I want some answers and I also want to tie up some lose ends"
"Hehe I thought you gave up life as a hunter At? What's the matter have a itch needing scratched?"
"Cel you idiot!"
Atlas's face showed a grim smile
"... I left because I was tired of dragging people back, tired of being a mindless killer for them. But old training has me wanting to solve a few things, as it's obvious these idiots won't quietly slip into hiding......Also Cel no i don't have an itch any more but seems you still have that sadistic bit from the labs"
"Tsk"
"So do we have any more ideas?"

Back at the Park

We waited for a bit but found what we were looking for. Frost saw the girl wave out to what appeared to be her father. The man waved back and contunied reading a book while his daughter played
"Let's go, I've got a few questions for him"
I nodded and got up from the bench, we walked over to the man and sat down on the same bench as him.
"Is that your daughter over there?" Frost asks the man

 

"Has she done something wrong? If so I can call her over to apologize for whatever it may be"
"No, she hadn't done anything like that. I just found it curious..... Why does a girl her age have dyed hair? Or is it dyed at all? She was running and i noticed silver bangs. It was a beautiful color don't get me wrong but silver isn't exactly a natural color" While saying this Frost played with her own silver hair.
"Does her mother have or had silver hair by chance?"

Back at the Foundry

"So do we have any more ideas?"
"Yeah, I want more info on our 'guests'"
"They have given you the info what more do..."
"Look At, not to cut you off but 'taking them for their word' i what ended up having you bunk with us. I want to gather my own info"
"And just how are you going to do that Cel?"
"Well If Miko were to decide to be of use she could electrically force her way into most systems"
"Even if i do what would you do with this new information"
"Considering my power actually requires me to calculate in order for the defense wall to properly work anything helps.....Besides I've been trying to see if i can't make a cage out of my power. It would require me giving up my own barrier to encase them in it but it would auto reflect anything inside back onto it's self. If i knew the reasoning behind a power i could effectively close off that person from using"
Atlas and Echo both where reminded of the Wolf, Zach and even Leah's black hole going out of control. Having Cel be a 'jailer' would prevent powers from going out of control or seal single enemies.
"Fine Echo, Miko get to work on finding a sutibale place to start hacking"
"Fine, but the moment i start using my power red flags will pop up like crazy. They will know someone was in their systems and could back trace where."
"I'll start mapping out possible weak points we can hack into larger systems, as for the alarms we will keep moving"
"Good, So looks like we will start with info gathering then"
"Aye"

 

The man got up rather quickly and started to leave while calling for his daughter
Bingo. Any normal person would have just shrugged me off but this one is trying to leave. He knows about her power, and that there are those that are after her. Now that he is spooked time do a bit of following
"Now what, he said she didn't and is now leaving" I whisper to Frost
"Why would he leave at such a simple question, also look. His face, it has worry to it and his tone sounds urgent he has an idea who we are.... Follow my lead" Frost whispered back
She walked up behind the man and ran a finger across his back, looked like she froze the tip of her finger before doing so
"Crystal was it? Nice to meet you dear, but do be careful on who you run into. We will be leaving now, do have a nice evening" Frost then started to walk toward one of the gates to the park as I started to follow she spoke up and pointed
"Don't you have business elsewhere? I suggest you start heading toward it" At first i was confused but as Frost then rested her back on the gate i realized. A trap. She wants me to cover the gate on the other side, cutting off an escape route. I then head to the far gate and watch with the girl and father in plain view, frost and I both have eyes on and can watch them. I guess now we wait....


"Okay this looks like a good spot, use that line and try to get into a system"
"Gotcha" Miko closed her eyes and concentrated "Got it, a terminal ranked E in security, I'll use this to link with one of the data hubs"
"Understood, no alarms yet from the chatter, check all data covering the past week around the old ports, person descriptions, warnings, any info that would be given to hunters"
"Got something, and yea pulling it to our files"
Ordinarily a usb or flash drive would be used as medium but those held a flaw, storage space. But what if you could condense files into tiny engravings on a piece of metal. Transcribe it onto a hunk of metal and use electrical signals to re-read and sound waves to create a 'sonar image' of the files. Of course this requires both of us to be able to read them but a quick and easy way to copy all info and sort it out later.
"Oh no, hit an B level wall. If I'm not careful we will trip a flag. "
"Make one attempt at it from there force through, they will know we are here either way"
"Gotcha......Shit didn't work forcing through now"
"They know, get what you can we will move once you are done. We got about 15 seconds before they think to start tracing, another 30 before the find us"
"Done, let's move!"
Miko and I rush off using our powers to travel fast going after the next easy access route we mapped out.

 

The man started heading toward The gate Frost was at. They are moving, I'll wait to see what she does before I start following.....
So they are leaving calmly, smart. best not to make a sense for their sake and our own, now to use that to our advantage.
Frost stepped away from the gate and started walking toward the girl name Crystal, from the looks of it she made sure to be in front of her. I start walking from my gate to the other one, can't have them backing up or turning around to run.


"Now focus only on info on Blaze"
"And what do you want me to just search 'Blaze'"
"No you idiot, look for all the pyro-related projects. Search Brandon, Project Gama. These are a few things we do know about him, see if you can't pull any data sent for his capture/kill orders"
"Hmmmmm ah found something, Project Gama.... Eh see file cabinet?!? What do they mean"
"Shit seems his doctor was the old fashion type, he came with a bundle of files when we first picked him up but they are in fragments now"
"I'll try go up to the man doctors files, surely he has a copy....WHOA"
"Miko what's the matter?"
"Who ever this is has a major defense to their files, 10 different layers is just the start and..... AGH"
"Miko!
"The first layer has something protecting it. It sent a electrical backlash back through the line.....It almost felt like, Omni...."
"Shit if they sent an attack back they know we are here, we need to move, no let's call it for now we will sort through the mass we got on the first run"
"Right.. let's go"

Back at the Labs
"Now now kids it's not going to be that easy to just get my files. Besides haven't you heard the old saying 'Don't stir a horent's nest'?"
Toufin laugh to him self at miko's attempt to steal data from him.
"I don't think you are quite ready yet so we will hold off 'the swarm'. But I wonder what her reaction to it would be"

 

Frost decide to drop the sweet demeanor and spoke as she normally does
"Not quite, in fact you couldn't be more wrong. If my assumption is correct she is like me, well actually us" Frost then points to me to reveal where i am. Guessing she didn't want me to scare them into running.
"As for what i want, answers but i do rather think the park isn't the right place so if you would kindly walk with us for a bit. Once i have an answer neither of us will bother you again. But I'll go ahead an ask a question right now: Is that silver hair from anyone in your gene pool or her mothers? Once you answer that We can get the ball rolling"
"If it makes you feel any better I have no idea why she is doing any of this, honestly she dragged me out to the park then once she ran into your daughter this whole mess started"

 

OOT: New character being introduced to the mix
He ran down the street voices screaming behind him. The sound of stomping feet grew closer to him.
"Get away I don't want to hurt you!"
"Kid your coming back with us."
"Get away! Get away! GET AWAY!"
The ground began to shake and it cracked as rocks shifted. The ground split apart letting the guards fall deep into the newly formed chasms.
"AHHHHHHH!!"
Guards screamed as the fell into the abyss.
"I said get away now!"
A guard raised his pistol and shot. The bullet flew threw the air and hit the boys arm. Blood gushed from the wound painting the ground around the young boy.
"IT HURTS!"
The more the boy screamed the worse the weather got. Clouds swirled around the surrounding area and the wind picked up. A tornado began and lifted cars, buildings, and people into it. The boy was pulled in as well. He was slammed against a wall and passed out instantly. The wind died down and everything stopped. Guards and civilians were scattered dead throughout the street. Debris were even more frequently placed. The boy began to sit up and looked around.
"But..... I didn't mean to."
He sobbed and fell to the ground and sobbed letting out screams of mixed rage and fear as he cried.

Back story: He has no memory of before the labs. While there he was tortured by his doctor to force his powers to activate and was traumatized by the experience. He escaped during a routine test that got out of hand
Special abilities: When under stress of any kind his power activates causing random destruction to happen around him. This could be a natural disaster, a car exploding, or just machinery failing.
Strength/Weakness : He absolutely no control of his ability. When stressed it happens if he wants it to or not. He was traumatized in the labs so he fears almost everything now meaning his power activates too often. He hides most of the time. His power can affect him too, its not like he has some invisible shield protecting him from the destruction.

 

John stopped and turned around. He looked back and saw Half with Gevauden.
"Shadowy figure?"
"You, know your friend."
"You mean Zed."
"Yes! That guy, is he asleep?"
John looks at Zed, who is currently on the road sleeping. He looks back at Half and Gevauden.
"Yes he is, why do you need him?"
"Well, its not like I want him, but he is needed for another cause."
"Half, Im pretty sure I told you not to follow us."
"Heh, well you know things happened, and well we have his sister."
"Half, you're telling him too much."
"Shut up, I know what Im doing."
John closes his eyes, and thinks about it. 'He did say his sister was that Leah girl, but do they really have her?' John looks at Zed, he walks up to him and crouches next to his face. He slaps Zed across the face.
"Hey, wake up, there are visitors.
Zeds hand twitches, he's fingers scrapping the concrete road. Zeds eyes open and he gets up gasping for air. He puts one hand on his head.
"Why did she have to dump me with lava?"
Zed looks up, he sees Half and Gevauden. John taps Zed on the shoulder, Zed turns his head to face John.
"Thats new, your eyes, one is red and the other is white."
"Okay, but what are those two doing here?"
"They say, they have your sister Leah."
Zeds eyes turn full red, he stares at Half and Gevauden.
"Do you really?"

 

Half got out a phone and dialed a number, holding it out to Zed.

On the other end of the line, Throne held out a phone to Leah, along with a glass of water and a plate of freshly baked cookies. "Your brother," she said pleasantly.
