When Masato said he just wanted the day to end Atlas laughed and shook his head.
"It's only morning, Masato was it? But you can rest once we get your clothes and a place to rest you can call it a day if you want to"

As Leah spoke Frost turned and tried to give her a little reassurance.
"Most of us can fix a few things but having someone to cook would help. After this is all said and done fix breakfast as a test, we like it you are hired"
Frost also noticed Leah had realized she was near naked, while she didn't have anymore spare clothes on her when they landed she would go grab a pair

"Hmmm seen a few like this before, the ones i've seen are not so much a bottomless clip as the ammo is electrical based, have a few certain systems in place one could achieve this..... a minor bio-electrical field generator, with a kinetic charger, and atmospheric condenser.... Oh whoops uhh hmm how should i put it. So long as the the wielder is living, moving and not in the vacuum of space it will fire. However the trade off is power, i could boost it but then that would require a charge time between each shot"
As Echo answered Violet he began thinking of ways to make the weapon better. As they all talked the finally made it back to Macasa.

Frost ran off the ship to their home to grab some clothes for leah and violet, she returned with a tank top on her self and a full set of clothes for leah, with bottoms for Violet.
"Welcome to your new home, well for now anyway. I'll get to work arranging the housing, while you lot get dressed"
"I'll head home and work on the jobs, and mange the funds of the last job"
"Means I'll be escorting you all to get some normal clothes. Come on and keep up, not my fault if you get lost"
It was just reached morning and the citizens of Macasa began to stir with their morning retinues. The group followed frost till the reached a small shop, as they entered Frost was greeted my an elderly man.
"Cicera, it's been a while oh who all do you have here?"
"Hmmm oh, figured i'd do some charity work"
"Really now, haha well reminds me of the charity work Atlas did some odd years ago to a cold girl left on the street. Ahh no matter browse what you like and try it on, we have changing rooms over here"
Frost slightly blushed while showing an angry face toward the old man.

    Leah nodded in response
"I would be more than happy to fix everyone breakfast."

When Frost returned with the clothing Leah took them
    "Thank you"
she slipped the bottoms on under the gown and managed to slip the top on as well without revealing anything. When they went to get more clothes, Leah stayed close to Frost. She was new to the area and the last thing she needed was to get lost.

Leah stepped up with a smile
    "My name is Leah"
    she turned to Frost
"Thank you again for your help"
with that she headed over towards the clothing rack and started looking through the clothing, grabbing a few to try on.
"What is the limit of clothing we can get for now, until we can pay it back?"

Sagon sat there and nodded towards Scarecrow. He understood exactly what he was trying to tell him without saying a word, or even signalling it.

"I get it, You were probably like this even before the entire hostage situation we just escaped from. I don't mind. Silence has always helped me think."

Sagon started to stand up, he was finally feeling much better. it was hours later after he told his life story to scarecrow that he was capable of moving freely and openly, He got a bearing of all of his senses again. He didn't have much time before he heard the marching of soldiers entering the building, they weren't very discrete about it. They kicked open the door and began breaching every room inside of this abandoned mill.

"Dispatch, It was a negative on the docks, the boats already took off. Can't pursue, No intel on where they're going. Boat workers are gone, and no plans, No one in our squadrons know how to hack, going to pursue a second lead. Civilians had said they saw a hulking giant carrying a man into a building we're going to breach, It is a Mill in the outskirts of the city,"

As the squadrons poured in they cleared floor after floor. till they reached the top floor where Sagon was hiding with Scarecrow.

Sagon waited around the corner of the door as one soldier came into the room, Quickly he tried to disarm the solider, It failed, the soldier had already picked up his gun to aim at Sagon by the time he came to his senses and looked up towards him. "Shit!" he thought to himself. and then something happened. It seemed everything slowed down for a second, though everything was still playing in real time. Sagon rolled out of the way a split second before the bullet was fired. his heart rate accelerated he was afraid for the first time since he was captured, He didn't want to die. then suddenly the entire first squad came into the room he was in all guns facing towards him. Scarecrow was still just standing there. Sagon put his hands him and above his head before getting onto his knees. "Please, god, let there be something." he said to himself again...

When the soldiers came up to him to apprehend him, they aggressively threw his hand to the ground. making a full palm to resist he touched the ground and somehow the floor collapsed inward on itself him being at the epicenter, each and every soldier in the room dropped and either broke a leg, ankle, arm, or landed on a broken glass pane. They suffered causalities. unfortunately the lick shots and screams of the soldiers motioned in more. Elevating the situation, Forcing himself Grabbed one of their assault rifles and ran down the corridor and into a room off to the side. waiting to pick off the first person he could see.

Violet slipped into the pants Frost had given her. Looking at her won skin, she decided that giving off the appearance of a full-body tattoo would give her purple skin a more plausible explanation. Willing it, black patterns began forming across her skin, but then vanished when she realized how much of a pain it would be to try maintaining those patterns every day. Following along, she arrived at the clothing store with the rest of the group and began sorting though the military surplus clothing.
Too big, too big, too big, too big, too big...

Arc stared at the creature before him, trying to understand what just happened. A moment ago, it was a withered little sack of skin, and now, it towered over him in a form of taught, wet flesh.

"So you call yourself Husk, huh? Where are you from?"
The creature's breathing grew calmer, as if finally getting air that it needed. Husk spoke in a hissing, raspy voice.
"From another world, free of the weak creatures such as you."
    "Oh, look who's talking!"
    "You mock me?"
    "Oh, no. No. I'm not."
    "Good."
"OF COURSE I AM MOCKING YOU, YA STUPID PIECE OF UGLY MEAT! YOU ARE UGLIER THAN THE UGLY KID ON THE BLOCK'S UGLY GRANDPARENT'S CRAP!"
"WHAT!? AND WHAT IS THIS 'CRAP' YOU SPEAK OF!? TELL ME!"
    "NO!"
Husk gripped one of his many teeth with his tongue, and with a twist, tore it out and spit it at Arc with the velocity of a bullet. It scratched Arc's cheek, creating a thin cut and letting the blood begin to drip.
    "TELL ME, FOOL!"
    "GOTTA CATCH ME FIRST!"
With that, Arc's thrusters activated at full speed and he launched towards the market place, leaving clouds of dust in his wake as he hit a speed of 120 MPH. Husk roared as he ran after Arc in hot pursuit, keeping close to the man that flew among the stalls and people, using them as obstacles. At one point, Arc and husk tore past the clothing shop Violet and the rest of the group browsed in. Hearing the two rush by, Violet paused before looking out the window to see what happened, but only saw dust.
    Was that Arc?
Not interested in whatever just caused the dust, she went back to looking through clothes.
Meh, oh well. Too big, too big, too big, jock strap, too big t-, wait, jock strap?
She threw it aside, resuming her search for clothes.

Hexen stomped through the trees, knocking down small trees that stood in his way. Coming to the end of the tree line, he looked at the buildings that stood before him, and gave a twisted grin that only a demon was capable of. Looking at the streets, he saw an old woman hobbling by, carrying a bag of food.

    First victim.
The monster crashed out of the remaining cover of the trees, intent on destroying the helpless woman. The few people in the area who saw him ran away in terror, but the senile old woman did not. Standing before the old woman now, Hexen raised his blade arm into the air, ready to slash her in half.
    "Timmy, is that you?"
    Hexen hesitated.
"My, how you have grown! Be a good boy and hold this bag for me, please."
The old lady hooked the bag onto one of Hexen's giant fingers and began to walk.
"Thank you for asking to help me, Tommy! Follow me, I don't live in the same place I used to. Stupid business people tore it down"
The old lady lead the way to her house, and without knowing why, Hexen awkwardly followed her.
How can she not be terrified of me?

Masato looked around at all the different clothes in the shop, a slight smile on his face.
"Shopping for clothes. Wow, this is the most normal think I've done in a while."
He was already wearing a set of casual clothes that he got from the other dimension, but everybody's gotta change clothes sometime, right? So he started picking out an extra outfit or two. He stopped and gave Claus a blank stare, seeing that he was still in his armor.
"I can't believe you came all the way out here in that spy getup."

Claus looked back at Masato, giving him an annoyed look through his helmet.
"What do you expect? This is all I have right now."

"But did you really have to keep all that armor on? You've even still got the helmet!"
    Claus shrugged.
"What about it? I get a few lingering looks here and there, but that's about it."

Just then, a curious passerby walked up to them, sizing up Claus. He tilted his head and spoke up.
"So, are you, like, a cosplayer, bro?"
Claus gave a very deep, very heavy sigh and responded.
    "Yes. I am a cosplayer."

"Duuuude! Sweet gear, brah! It looks, like, totes real, lol."
The young man walked away, leaving Masato with a wide, cheeky grin on his face. Claus pointed his finger at him and caught him before he could say anything.
"Not a word. Am I making myself clear? Not. A. Word."
Claus walked away, going back to his shopping.

When Claus was some distance away, Masato whispered just loud enough to be heard by him.
    "Duuude."
He felt a great sense of satisfaction when he heard a loud groan from Claus.

The old man nodded at leah.
"Pleased to meet you, as for clothes i'd say grab at least a weeks worth. I'll go easy on the price since Cicera is paying hehe"
"Keep it up old fart and i'll tell you put it on a tab and you won't see a kras till next month"
"Day or month matters not, i know i'll get my money from you. You're not the type to not pay back a debt"
    "Shut it"
    "Hmmmm"
As they conversed Bran dug through a set off clothes trying to find something he like. He ended up picking up a black shirt with worn blue jeans, and a few sets of each to make sure he had enough to change into. As he changed he was thankful he left his weapons back at the ship.
"Hey old man think i could sell these to make up some of the difference?"
"Ahhhh I recognize this type of uniform, standard issue..... Say boy where did you get that?" The clerk gave him a scrutinizing look, Bran began to sweat trying to think of an answer
"Well, a buddy... Yeah a buddy of mine happened to lend me his uniform before I.... uh found myself here"
"Hmmmm" The old man didn't believe him for a second but then burst into laughter before clearing the air. "Don't worry son i know hwere you got that and pretty sure how as well, don't pay it no mind. Ya don't get to be my age by being stupid so mums the word. However i don't think i could buy that due to the attention it would bring"
Releieved Bran sat down while the others continued to search, he decided to read a bit of the files on him and the others like him before Frost grabbed the papers from him.
    "Hey those are-"
"Not here, not now... wait till you have in better place trust me"
As frost gave that bit of advice to Bran they both heard Arc rocket past followed by something else. Screams could be heard by the passers by as they were caught off guard by Arc and husk.
Turning to violet and bran Frost spoke
"Geez, your boyfriend and your compainaon sure know how to keep a low profile huh? At this point he's advertising who he his... But different tastes for different women I suppose, you two did fight like a married couple earlier"
"For the record, we all escaped together, i don't really know who he is or why he does what he does"
    "Uh Huh, keep trying"

Leah couldn't help but overhear their conversation as she looked through the clothing. She to wondered why he hadn't taken his helmet off. As she rooted through the clothing, she found a few outfits that would fit her. One being a light blue dress, cause a girl always has to have a dress and a few others. She found about four outfits to wear, including something to wear to bed. She then headed for the dressing room to try on what she found but along the way she noticed a passerby approach Claus

She giggled a little and shook her head. Seems he was a bit stubborn to take of his helmet, she proceeded in the dressing room. She was rather glad to get out of the hospital gown she had been in. She tried on each outfit and the shoes to go with each and they had fit her perfectly. The one she chose to wear out was a pair of black tights with a long white shirt that had a grey ruffled bottom to it, she tightened the stomach corset that went with the shirt and tied the yellow belt like materiel around her waist. She had found a pair of knee length boots that matched perfectly with the outfit. (see first page, Leahs info for outfit idea)

When she was dressed she turned to take a look at herself in the mirror and was pleased with the outfit she chose. But her hair was a mess. She peeked out from the curtain and saw a package of ribbon next to the dressing room she was in. She grabbed them and quickly closed the curtain. Turning back to the mirror, she didnt have a brush with her but ran her fingers through her hair to trying to get as many of the tangles out as possible. Her hair was very long, down to the back of her knees, she hadn't remembered it being that long before.
"How long have I been at that lab?"
she spoke quietly to herself as she stared into the mirror, she didn't even know who she was anymore. What had they done to her? She sighed feelingl a bit lost with everything. She shook her head of the thought and proceeded to fix her hair, the others were probably waiting for her. She parted her hair into two and braided each piece and placed the ribbon at the end of each braid. When she finished, she took one last look at herself and gave a slight smile before gathering her clothes and exiting the dressing room. When she took a few steps out she noticed something go flying past the window, but it was to fast for her to see what it was. A cloud of dust followed. It seemed she wasn't the only one who noticed, but it didn't seem everyone was to bothered by it. She thought this was probably normal to them and proceeded to carry her clothing towards the clerk. She passed Claus along the way and stopped.
"For what its worth, I bet you'll better without the helmet"
she looked up at him and gave him a half smile before continuing towards the clerk. She approached the clerk and placed the clothing on the counter.
"I hope you don't mind I wear this outfit out. I don't think I would fit in wearing a hospital gown"
    She then turned to Frost
"Thank you for covering our clothing, I promise I will work hard to pay you back"
She gave a slight bow to Frost to show her appreciation. She gathered her clothing after the clerk was done checking them out and waited for the others to finishe

Masato gave Claus another wide grin.
"See? She thinks it's funny that you won't take off your helmet, too."

Claus ignored him and continued picking out clothes.
"Come on, it can't be that bad. Or is it? You, uh...you don't have some horrible facial scarring, do you?"
He started to back away slowly.
"Do you have, like, a Deadpool face or something? 'Cause I don't think I can handle that right now."

Claus stopped picking out clothes, turned to face Masato and took off his helmet...which he then chucked at Masato's face.
    "AUGH--!"
Masato clutched his nose, his eyes watering a little bit.
Claus walked over to him, picked up his helmet and gave Masato one last glare.
"As you can see, my face is perfectly fine, thank you very much. If you have any more asinine questions or requests, go bother somebody else."
Claus went back to picking out clothes, holding his helmet under his arm.

Leah giggled when Claus took his helmet off and threw it at Masato. In all fairness he did pester Claus a bit much on the matter and got what he deserved. Leah also wondered about the mystery man behind the helmet. It wasn't until he turned an started rooting through the clothing again that Leah got a good look at his face. Upon seeing him, her jaw dropped and all the clothes she was holding, slipped out of her hands. She had a look of complete and utter shock
    "I...it can't be....."
Realizing she dropped the clothing, she quickly picked them up and set them on a nearby chair, not taking her eyes off of Claus. She then began to slowly approach him, studying his face along the way. She stopped just across from him, still staring at him.
    "It is you,"
It took a moment but she finally blinked and shook her head
" Claus Karalis. You were best friends with Derek. "
she looked away and was deep in thought for a moment
"I thought your name sounded familiar but anyone could have that name, but now that I see your face I am 100% sure you are him....my brothers best friend"
she looked up at him and tears started welling up in her eyes, and she quickly wiped them away
"Its so good to see a familiar face"

Arc zipped to the end of the street, avoiding the innocent people.
For a creature that had no propulsion systems like me, that thing is keeping up with me quite well.
Arc made a sharp turn into an alleyway and step his feet down, skidding to a halt. Husk whipped around the corner as well, its blade arms held out to his sides. Arc whipped out his knife, and prepared for a fight.

"TELL ME WHAT THAT WORD MEANS!"
    "You are one boring bastard."
Arc sidestepped the rushing monster when it continued its charge, using boosters to boost the effect of the sidestep and avoid getting cleaved by the bone blades. But due to the speed of the creature and its long blades, Arc was unable to counterattack Husk. Pushed against the wall, Husk jabbed in rapid repetition at Arc. Unable to get away, Arc dodged the creature in what little space he had available for himself. After half a minute, the creature roared and started firing teeth at Arc, forcing Arc to step up his dodging. Static began to cut across his vision.
    I'm... starting to feel strange.
    "ENOUGH! TIME TO FINISH YOU!"
Hus slammed his bladed arms into the wall, surrounding both sides of Arc. A pulse of blood visibly surged into hits arms, causing the arms to swell as the surge made its way into the blades.
This can't be good! But this is my chance!
Taking the brief pause, Arc launched himself into the air with his thrusters. After getting fifty feet into the air, Husks arms exploded into a mist of blood and launched bone fragments. Several fragments impaled Arc from below, causing him to drop in pain. The bones stuck in his feet and arms, causing great pain from the foreign blood that clung to the fragments. Hitting the ground, Arc slolwy stood up. The unarmed Husk walked to the injured man, and open its mouth, ready to tear Arc's face off.
    "Not today!"
In desperation, Arc ripped Husk's torso, and willing it, released the rest of his energy into the creature. Knowing for awhile that he was low on power, he hoped he would be able to stop the creature.
    He did.
Husk's body exploded from the intense power current that surged through its body. All that remained were chunks, a head, the husk the creature emerged from, a pair of still-standing legs and lots of blood everywhere. Panting, Arc limped away from the scene of the slaughter.

    Now... what?

Claus turned towards Leah, raising his eyebrow.
"What are you talking about? I don't know anyone named Derek."
But just as he said that very same name, a look of realization appeared on his face.
"Derek...Derek? Why does that name sound so familiar? I don't...I mean, I shouldn't..."
All of a sudden, he felt the room begin to spin. He became so light-headed that he nearly collapsed, which he narrowly avoided by stumbling towards nearby wall and leaning on it to keep himself standing.
"What...? What's happening to me? Or rather...what happened to me?"
Memories rapidly flashed through his mind, too quickly to keep track of. They were vague recollections at best; most of them were just mental images, nostalgic feelings and short moments taken out of any context. But one thing did stick out to him as he regained his balance and looked up at Leah.
"...Evans. Leah Evans. Derek's little sister."
He took a few steps towards her to get a closer look.
"I know you. And I know this "Derek" as well. But why...?"
He looked down, sliding his hands up his face, his expression showing clearly how exasperated he felt.
"If he was my best friend, why are my memories so vague? Why does it feel like my mind is in a fog when I try to remember his face? What did they do to me? What did they take from me?"

Leah reached out to help him from stumbling. When he caught his balance she straighten herself up

She nodded when he said her full name
    "Yes..that's me"
    she smiled
"You and Derek used to hang out all the time at the Dorms where we stayed. I was living with him at the time and you would often come over."
she noticed he seemed a little irritated

    Leah tilted her head
    "do you not remember?"
She was quiet for a moment as she tried to think of a way to answer him
"I-I wish I had a picture to show you, maybe that would help. But I don't have anything"

Claus rubbed his chin, looking deep in thought.
"We might have something even better than that..."
He shook his head and slowly looked up at Leah.
"No...not yet, not here. Once we get back to the place we're staying, we'll talk about it more. For right now, I still need to pick out clothes and we don't want to cause a scene here."
He picked up his helmet which fell on the floor when he nearly collapsed. He went back to looking through clothes, picking out somewhat plain-looking yet practical shirts and pants that wouldn't hinder his range of motion. He would occasionally look back to Leah, still trying as best he could to bring more of his lost memories back to the surface.

    She nodded in agreement
    "Ok"
Leah said quietly. She smiled and then walked back over where she was standing earlier an waited for everyone to finish shopping. She had noticed him looking up at her from time to time. She hoped that when they all got settled that she would be able to help him. She started off for a moment as she was deep in thought remembering all the times he had came over to hang out. He always made sure to include Leah in everything they did. She was relieved to found someone she knew, this actually made her feel so much better.

Unfortunately for Sagon, his current partner had gone into his idle state, standing with his usual blank expression and unmoving. This would be a fight whom Sagon would fight alone.

Irene kept back and waited for the others to pick out their clothing. Her's were optimal and wouldn't arouse suspicion.

Finding the clothes she wanted, Violet slapped the pack of clothes onto the counter. Some were military surplus, others were casual. She slipped some swimware in for good measure.
"I'll be paying you back, Frosty. Right now, I need to to go out and check on something. I saw something odd."
Walking out of the shop, she removed herself from having to listen to Leah and Claus during a time of revelation.
    What was that?
Looking around, she looked for what caused the dust cloud to streak by. People on the streets looked in confusion as well, trying to come to the same conclusion.
Whatever it was, came by so fast they weren't ready for it. Probably don't even know what it was.
Looking around, she saw someone familiar stumble out of an alleyway, covered in blood. He appeared to be in pain, with sharp shards stuck in him.
    "Arc!"
Violet ran to him, coming to his aid. Arc's vision was gone, completely replaced with static. Hearing Violet, he looked up.
"Violet? Is that you? I can't tell."
His hearing barely functioning and his senses numbing, he began to limp to her, trying to run. But thanks to all of the events since his escape, from fighting through a complex, being killed by a demon, to flying at top speed, his body could not go on. He dropped forward, landing on his side as he twisted on his way down.
    "No!"
Violet reached him, and began shaking him.
    "Wake up!"
Unable to wake him, she checked his pulse.
Still there, but weak. But what do I do?
Dragging him back to the shop, she opened the door.
"Hey! Found him! I'm taking him back to the ship. I think he had an accident."
Violet began making her way to the ship, carefully dragging Arc along.
I wish I could use my tentacles. This would be so much easier.

OOT: Any time-skip or transition will result in Arc getting treated, but still unconscious.

Frost gave a dismissive wave while speaking
"Cant expect you to work in just a night gown nor blend in. Just make sure that breakfast is good and we'll be even"

As Claus and Leah had a moment of re-connection frost made a comment to Bran.
"Wow, it's more than rare that two people who knew each other meet outside their time in the labs. It's to the point this could be a first, and its under at least pleasant circumstance...."
"What do you mean by that?"
"If you haven't noticed not very many people like us tend to make it, those files you have record the fate of those before you"
"And by pleasant circumstance you mean?"
"Forget it, just keep your mouth shut and let them have their time"

As violet walked out Frost threw the old man a stack of bills tied neatly. the old man caught it an began counting it.
"Pleasure doing business Cicera, come back again"

As Violet began dragging Arc Frost caught up to her and picked Arc up and threw him over her shoulder.
"The ship doesn't have enough medical items to treat him properly, come on we'll take him to Atlas and Echo. They should be done by now"
Frost leaned in to Violet and spoke to only she could hear.
"From what i saw you have camo powers ya? Do your self a favor and use it to hid the tentacles, uses your powers to your advantage not a hindrance. Either that or start lifting, because if he's like this alot you'll need to have strength to carry him back"

The group had made it back to Frost's home, the others and arrived back as well, both staring at frost still carrying Arc.
"Ahh so he made it after all, seems the lad cut out for this life after all"
"What did he do to himself? Looks pretty banged up, uggh let me clear a spot set him down"
Turning to Leah Frost spoke. "Go ahead and get the stove started, we'll make sure you can hear us"
Echo cleared of a spot on the floor of scrap and junk so frost could set arc down. As she did Atlas walked over with a medical kit and began to work and talk at the same time.
"You all are in luck I found some nice homes for you all to call your own. There's a two bedroom looking to rent a pair that keeps to them selfs, should work out to yours and the lads liking" He pointed at Violet and Arc while removing a shard of bone.
"A gym needs a janitor and is willing to proved board as well, just need some fighting experience to qualify"
"And I found a small shack that could house two but it would be a bit cramped, it will have to do as Seeing as... hmmm what's his name, Blaze? Is gonna be hear making us cramped."
    "It's Bran!"
    "Sure Blaze"
As Atlas mentioned the places for rent Echo pointed to them on a larger paper map of the island.
"Leah volunteered as cook so she's on our payroll as of this meal, we could use another fishing hand, and there are a few other things I'm sure you could make yourself useful for. Then again without knowing your guys skills i had to done entry level job searching"
Thinking for a moment Bran decided he would take the fishing hand job
"I'll join in too, used to fish as a kid so can't be too hard right?"
"Speaking of, Leah! Get me a stack of pancakes, with peaches in the center. A jug of OJ, bacon sausage patties, hash browns and...."
"Frost! We don't even have half of that stuff do you expect her to go out and get all that?"
Atlas turning to the kitchen spoke a gentle tone
"Fix what you can and we will show you the local market to start buying indgredinets for the meals. You'll have a budget fro us of course so it wont be out of your own pocket"
Frost grumbled, while Bran decided to read more of the files he had taken. upon a close read he saw a word he hadn't seen before but could guess what it meant
"Pyro-Kineises? What's that like fire motion?" he had to think for a minute then it it him, the burning sensation, the bright flashed he created back at the labs, the stream of fire. His power all had a fire base to them.
    Can i really control fire?

OOT "cracks knuckles, be prepared to be hungry after reading this :p

Leah nodded and headed into the kitchen. Being the first time in the kitchen she had no idea where anything was. She started opening the cupboards which seemed to be rather bare. Only a few things were available food wise. She then looked into the fridge, all that was in there was a half a carton of eggs, and milk, she opened the good intentions drawer (you know the drawer at the bottom of the fridge that holds all the fruits an vegetable for good intentions but end up there only to die, yeah that one) inside was a container with some strawberries. She took a good look at them and luckily they were still good. She noticed a freezer out of the corner of her eyes and decided to check it for food. Upon looking she spotted a package at the very bottom, hidden under some other meats. It was bacon, she pulled it out and placed it in the sink allowing water to run over the package to thaw it. She froze when she heard Frost in the other room

She couldn't help but sigh. she mumbled to herself
"There is no way I can make all that with the lack of food"
She then heard Atlas and let out a sigh of relief. Just then she spotted a door, she walked over and opened it. Jackpot! she found the pantry. Inside were some spices, a couple potatoes, an onion, and a loaf of bread. She looked through the spiced and found cinnamon, garlic salt and paprika. She paused a moment, she remembered seeing some salsa in the fridge and she instantly came up with a few things to cook. She gathered all the ingredients she needed and went to work. After about 15 minutes of preparation she had three pans on the stove and the smell of bacon could be smelled from the kitchen. She was standing next to the stove chopping up the potatoes. Two potatoes she did in chunks adding some spices to it, and tossing it into the pan to cook. The other two she cut up into small strips and started to make what seemed like little patties with them. She set them aside for a moment so she could flip the bacon. She then cracked the eggs and started mixing them in a bowl, she added some vanilla extract and cinnamon with the eggs she set the bowl down and opened up the bread. She found a casserole dish under the stove and greased it with the butter she found in the fridge. She cut up the bread into chunks and places it into the dish. Taking the egg mixture she added a little but of brown sugar to it and then poured it over the bread. She placed the dish into the oven and set a timer.

She then turned to the left over eggs, she grabbed another bowl and cracked the eggs into the, carefully making sure not to get any shells in the bowl. She then took a fork and started mixing the egg mixture. She added a dash of garlic and paprika to it, but it was missing something. She headed back to the fridge and notices a package with a little bit of shredded cheese in it. She grabbed it and dumped it into the mixture. Once the mixture was thoroughly mixed she dumped it into the third pan and stirred the eggs as they cooked. She also gave the potatoes another good stir as she was constantly checking things throughout cooking. Things were coming together. The potatoes were done as well as the bacon , so she placed them in a dish and set them aside and covered them to keep the heat in. In the now empty pan she poured some vegetable oil in it and started heating it up. She saw some corn tortillas in the pantry and brought those out. She removed the eggs off the stove and started rolling them in the tortilla and then instantly placed them in the hot oil, flipping them when each side was a light golden brown. Once they were done she put them on a plate in a circle and poured the salsa in a bowl, placing the salsa in the middle of the plate.
The potatoes she made patties with she set into the pan with the bacon grease and cooked them on each side until golden brown and then set them aside. At this time the casserole was done and smelled divine. She set everything on the table and went back to cut up the strawberries. She added some sugar to them and stirred them, turning the juices of the strawberry into a syrup to put on top of the casserole. Once everything was sat on the plate she took a step back and smiled, pleased with what she has cooked with what little there were.
She made her version of hash browns, breakfast potatoes, bacon, french toast casserole, and scrambled eggs stuffed corn tortillas.

She gathered all the dirty dishes and set them in the sink. She would clean them after everyone was done eating. She walked into the room where everyone was at
"Everything is prepared and ready to eat"

Masato's ears perked up at the mention of this place in particular. With a wry smile, he spoke up.
"Hey, sounds perfect for me. I can start out at the bottom of the ladder and work my way to the top. It'll be like getting a fresh start on my martial arts career! Yeah, that doesn't sound to bad."
    He gave a weak laugh.
"But still...it'd be nice if I could get back to my old career at some point. Ah well, sometimes you've just gotta play the hand you're dealt, right?"

At this point, Claus, who had listening in silence until now, finally spoke up.
"Cramped as fine, as long as it's quiet. I'll stay there with Leah."

Masato gave him a curious look.
"And here I thought you hated people. Oh, I get it...you two found out that you know each other, right? I didn't catch all of it 'cause I stepped out; it sounded like the kind of conversation that shouldn't be eavesdropped on. But from the little bit I caught, it definitely sounded like Leah recognized you."

    Claus nodded.
"Exactly. There are some important matters I need to discuss with her."

They stared at each other in silence for a few moments.

    "Don't go there."

"Whaaat? I didn't even say anything yet! Wait...can you read my mind?!"
    Claus rolled his eyes.
"Believe me, it doesn't take a telepath to know what you're thinking."

"YES! Oh man, it smells delicious!"
Masato got up quickly and looked towards Leah.
"Were you a chef before you get here? If your food tastes as good as it smells, this is gonna be awesome!"

    Claus gave a slight nod.
"And here I thought Masato and I would never agree on anything. Will wonders never cease."
Despite his deadpan tone, he really was looking forward to this meal. Even for Claus, who was never one to call himself a connoisseur, the food in the laboratory was...less than adequate.

"I would have lifted him if I didn't want to get blood on your clothes..."
Violet grumbled her response to Frost, low enough that she should be unheard.

With the bone fragments removed, Violet decided she should should clean him up.

"You people can wait here for the food, so right now I need to clean him up if we want those wounds properly bandaged."
Leaning back, Violet let her tentacles pop out, gripping Arc carefully with six of her tentacles, while letting the two small ones she reserved for covering her breasts carry the bandages . Taking him to the restroom and bringing a first-aid kit along, she began peeling his suit off, carefully washing off the wounds on his body along the way. Looking at his body, she looked at the holes that lined his body, each large enough to stick a thumb into the yellow membranes within.
Those aren't the wounds... but they do look strange an unnatural. He's going to have to keep these clean.
Removing his suit from his chest, Violet saw something that surprised her: A metal hatch located between his heart and chest.
    "What the Hell?"
Not knowing what it was and feeling that she would need to read up on this hatch, Violet pulled out his manual before continuing her task. Peeling off the rest of the suit, she finished cleaning him off and bandaging him. He still wore the shorts he started off with, so thankfully, he was able to keep some parts of himself unexposed.
Leaving Arc in the restroom, she joined up with everyone where they ate Leah's food.

"Got the wounds patched up and cleaned. Think I have an idea for how to treat him. Anyway, this food looks good. Hopefully you won't mind me eating while I read."
Sitting down cross-legged, she let her six main tentacles sprawl out as she read his manual, searching for a diagram one what part did what.
"Ion-thrust engines, arcing pads, augmented skeleton, bio-battery, universal charging port... So, that's a charging port?"
Flipping through the pages, she found information on it.
"Any cord and power source? That must be convenient."
Looking around, she saw an unused extension cord and pulled it out of the wall with one of her tentacles.
That was when she noticed it.

    "What the- another one!?"
Turning her head, she looked on the other side of her, and noticed it once more.
"And another!? I'm supposed to have four, not six!"

In an alleyway elsewhere, a bloody, gory mess adorned the area. A creature exploded by a man's final, intense current blew the creature to bits. But as the blood and chunks lay on the ground, something happened. The skin that the creature poured from began to undergo a change. Threads of sinew and cartilage began sewing across the mouth of the skin with no apparent force controlling it. After a few minutes, the mouth was sealed and sown shut. The flat, crumpled skin began filling out, being filled with something unknown. After a little while, the skin was back to what it had been before, and it began twitching. Before long, it began giggling and moaning like it had been before. Crawling away, the skin left the mess its body had been used to make.
    Husk is back!
