Pachinko game maker Sammy began streaming an extra episode of the EUREKA SEVEN AO anime on Tuesday, as a promotional tie-in for its pachislot game based on the anime. The new episode is titled "Final Episode: One More Time -lord don't slow me down-." Currently, only the episode's "A-part" is available, with the B-part streaming on January 24, the C-part on January 31, and the D-part on February 7.

The anime aired in Japan in 2012. Funimation streamed the series as it aired, and released it on Blu-ray Disc and DVD in 2013. The series is a sequel to the 2005 Eureka Seven anime series.

The anime sequel featured the return of the original anime's director Tomoki Kyoda, as well as several mechanical designers, art director, color stylist, visual effects director, and director of photography. The first anime's character designer Kenichi Yoshida and main mechanical designer Shoji Kawamori were also credited for "key character designs" and "Nirvash designs," respectively.

Bandai Entertainment released both the original Eureka Seven series and the anime film in North America on DVD in 2006. Funimation re-released the series on Blu-ray Disc and DVD in 2014.
