yeah.... again the manga does have something similar but it's only mentioned occasionally. Mostly during the first few chapters but then it's only brought back up on occasion and It wasn't even YD it was called ADW "Always Does only what he Wants to do" so those stupid puns centering what YD could mean (which don't even make sense it's just a really bad word play) are more anime original crap where they changed things for no reason. I mean just try saying "He has ADW". That almost sounds like a legit mental illness and most people would ask what kind it was because it sounds legit enough because a lot of mental disorders are shorted to 3 or 4 letters or at least the more famous ones are. But yeah as if changing it wasn't bad enough they force that stupid explanation at the start of EVERY episode.

 

This week's ep was bloody brilliant! I knew it would be, I loved it so much but, then it had to stop the fun. Whelp, 7 more days till the 3rd part of the Luce arc as I'll call it. This also means while Kagami survived this ep, he still might screw it up and unleash my full wrath. I seriously hope not, but we'll see. So much potential here, hopefully the next ep is as good cus I can't tell if it will be and that worries me given this series' track record...

One more thing, while it was meant for comedy relief, it also clashed with the prev ep and that chase ep near the beginning cus they showed Kagami have less than zero stamina while running... a very minor gripe really just, had to point it out but it was a funny scene so I'll let it slide.

 

@Metazoxan and anyone watching: Well, our 2nd half of this anime confirmed and also, the real reason for my tag... just LOOK at those famous names associated with the infamous anime... and just HOW did this series turn out so bad with these talents working on this? No, seriously, I want to know! ...

maybe those big names were the whole problem. They blew their entire budget on big name VA in order to attach their names to the anime and spent next to nothing on animation or good writing staff. That combined with the fact soem of the VA didn't suit their characters (because no matter how good you are there are just some roles not meant for you) meant this was doomed to fail.

 

Wait what? Some good names yet nothing to get the anime better? Well lets see if it recovers somehow

 

BTW ep 10 just about followed the manga exactly except for a few details

While only one round against a monster like team was shown it was never said that it was the only round or that they were champions for years. Also the finals were team 23 vs "The Empires knight" who were quote "The favorites to win" meaning there were more teams and Kagami's group won all of them. Although I guess beating a team that chased away all other teams is just as impressive if not more so than beating several teams.

The other difference is the actual battle was shown is much more detail than in the manga which is actually a positive improvement.

Oddly enough most episodes ended at the same time as a certain chapter but this one ended a 4th of the way through one.

So overall it was a pretty good episode with only minor changes made. Although I'll have more to say later because of the 14 chapter skip. Either they are going to have to come back to all of that or they are going to have to completely rewrite the plot later to make up for it.

 

This week's ep aka the Luce Arc III was pretty good, didn't really do anything wrong, just didn't have as much action in it as the last 2 eps due to irl taking over mostly instead of half irl and game world. That said but, Kagami while he yet again evaded me, he was shown to be planning something, if he doesn't handle this right in the next ep I'll rip him a new one like I said 3 weeks ago and I'd say it is possible considering "who " who was plotting with, the scum bags. Also, if only everyone was this nice to people irl. Tis a shame that just because a person stands out in some way (Such as cross dressing as one of countless examples) that people have to be dicks and treat others badly.

Now, all that said buuut, I just went on MAL and checked out Luce's profile, I didn't expect any manga info to be on there when I clicked the spoiler, big mistake. WHile those events might've happened in the manga, this show has proved besides the Luce arc, they'd made BIG changes to the anime ver. but they still could change it, either way, Luce is a char that I take interest in. It'll be interesting to see if the anime turns out like MAL lists it as and of course, it only listed the out come of the battle and what Luce decides to do and what everyone else does to Luce. 1 weeks, just 7 days till we all see what happens with the anime ver.

So, it seems everyone forgot about this particular anime

 

Didn't forget mostly just finally got tired of watching it.

 

I think I still need to see the newest ep, I forget, but that woman from "cern" or whatever play on the name they used was interesting, as was the ep and hey, best of all, they did away with that annoying YD into! Fyi, it's funny but the dub doesn't have it at all. lol

Now, Kagami would've gotten it from me but his sis beat him up real good for me with her bat in a past ep. He didn't handle the sitch with Luce right like I feared, sure it was as bad as I thought it'd be but ya don't do that crap, ticked me off and further more he had no RIGHT to do it given his whole YD and not being social himself or getting out, which further irked me. Still he did help Luce and it wasn't as bad as I was expecting it to be, so I'll let him off since his sis did the job for me.

 

Annnd, just saw the newest ep. (14) They're really picked up on their quality of enjoyment for me. Ever since the Luce arc, this show has become much better. This ep was great, funny, and even the cliché was funny and came with a twist. I look forward to the next ep but atm do feel sorry for money girl.

I've fallen behind. I plan to catch up sooner or later but I'm more interested in this season's shows.

 

Ah ok, then I look forward to your future comparisons of the eps x manga u've yet to see but plan too.

*Ahem* It's official. Denpa Kyoshi has ended. I'm actually sad to see it go but theres no time for frowning because, I just wanted to say this was in some ways a great series, in most ways a sorry series, which is mainly the producer's, artists and other such direction's fault but at least the VA gave it their all! Ep 24 the last ep ended with Kagami's greatest words ever and were through the roof awesome! I honestly wish to see Kagami's world become a reality! If you're like me and saw till the end (or if u aren't me but cheated and saw the final moments of the ep and his epic speech) then u'll know what I'm talking about here.

Did anyone else finish this series?

@Metazoxan Did u ever catch up or finish the series? If so, I'd love to hear the comparasons for the eps and the manga that u didn't get a catch to compare, whenever u get time ofc. lol

 

sorry I got busy and while I haven't officially dropped it I've kind of put it on indefinite hold. I'll probably get back to it at some point but I'm not sure when.
