The second compiled volume of Sekihiko Inui's manga adaptation of Koushi Tachibana's Date A Live light novel series is announcing on Monday that the third volume of the manga will be the last. Kadokawa will ship the third volume in Japan sometime this winter.

The story centers on an ordinary high school boy named Shidō Itsuka who meets a spirit girl who has been rejected by a devastated world. The girl, who Shidō names "Tohka," happens to have wiped out much of humanity 30 years ago, and now she is back. The only way to stop her is to date her.

Inui began serializing the manga in Kadokawa's Monthly Shōnen Ace magazine in its January 2014 issue.

The firsts season of the Date A Live TV anime premiered last year, and a second season is currently airing. Funimation is streaming the series as it airs in Japan.
