Current and Upcoming AVI/Sig Themes

Natsuru-san, what’s with your new avi/sig? Such bland in comparison to the previous ones…
Well, this one is ok, but yes not really much effort went into it.  I think it sums up how restrictive DTR is with certain things such as no gif avis amongst other stuff BUUUT! That's only the "added" bonus. No, the  truth is, I was having  a pretty crappy ass week, then, I was told my sig exceeds the sig size limit in that same week and they're cracking down on this and I had 2 days to change it (1 day had already passed) soo, had to either A) resize it then upload it again or B) use this pic which I'd been wanting to use for something like this anyway. lol I don't mind too much tbh, it just came at a REALLY bad time for me. lol ^_^' My last sig was exceeding the width by close to 50Px and the height by about 8-12Px. In all honesty I'd forgotten it exceeded the height but others had far bigger/wider sigs at times than I did and, sad to say but I'm hardly around so guessing I figured it was ok at the time.

*Disclaimer* xD This is the only time I'll be mentioning this in DTR. Don't wanna get in trouble after all but figure this is safe since it's about the new sig size enforcing rule.

So non-living things. You mean inanimate objects then. Sounds odd, but could work. Oh and Hikikomori week was done on the week of June 21st (’cause my birthday). Oh and FYI, themes from JD and JDR can be used here. I just want to avoid unnecessary duplicates within DTR.

@Hikikomori: Yup to the bolded. Hehe, it is when you think about it, I mean how often do we come to a forum that's got users with inanimate objects as their avi/sig? Sadly, I didn't go to the old group much back on those sites... so no idea what all themes were done back then but, if you don't have a list for those old JD/JDR themes maybe make an archive of them?

I cant use my GIF rotator here, and i cant be arsed to resize 100+ GIFs to 500x150. So I feel you there.

 

i never use my default wampa avi here so i decided to use that..but upside down...yeah i couldnt think of any interesting character for this week

None of this is new. The signatures keep creeping up in size. Everyone who is non-compliant was sent a message asking for the signature to be resized. There were no warnings given, which is completely within our right.


Wait, I just read that thread again. Does that mean I'll have to remove the text in my sigs or start making my sigs smaller? Though, I suppose I won't be needing the text for much longer...

2. Would anyone here happen to know the math and stuff behind the grumpybumper sig site thing? I just want to know a few things regarding. Like, does adding more copies of the one image into the available spots make it more likely for that image to appear? And if one created more accounts and copied their links into the original account, would that essentially be separating it into themes? Like, normal chance of it picking any of the themes, but then normal chance again on top of that for picking any of the images in the further accounts?

To start off with, Welcome aboard~! And yes, all members helps decide future themes. Generally, as long as the theme is appropriate or wouldn't make the group look bad, I approve almost all suggestions.

 

By the way that will be the last time anyone sees me end a sentence with ‘nya’ so, shut up.

And single-anime themes aren't allowed too, Super. Just so that people don't feel left out when there's a theme of an anime they haven't seen.

Well I sure picked a hell of a time to do the manga theme I missed. lol Nyanuary them going on right now. Guess I'll put on the cat suit once more, my dignity was already lost back then anyway. xD But for now, going with manga theme, might have to do Nyanuary theme another time, another day, same place though.

To help prove a point, and check the wording I said that is the last time, so previous usages are irrelevant
