If that was the case the world would of been destroyed when she was jealous of Kyon & Mikuru, which didn't happen, so obviously no. You guys make it sound like no one ever said no to her in her entire life, and again if that were somehow true, that wouldn't make Haruhi the bad character it would be everyone else.

Suddenly debating something when your quoted is "not being calm" and taking things to serious.

 

It would have if Kyon hadn't completely dropped his relationship with Mikuru, and not kissed haruhi in the new world, secondly she has been told no and yes the moster have been defeated but Koizomi even says they can't keep up. She got her powers 3 years ago so she had been told no alot, only now she posses a threat to destorying the world

 

What relationship with Mikuru? They weren't dating. I don't even remember why Haruhi was jealous in the first place.

So she's been told no a lot, which is what I've been saying telling her no isn't some fatal life or death decision.

If she got her powers 3 years ago how come only now she can destroy the world? There must be something I'm not understanding here.

 

They weren't date but the fact that kyon was getting closer to Mikuru made her jealous, which then that night she created a new world containing only her and kyon, fearing that she was going to delete the old world kyon convinces her to not to by kissing her making her think it was just a dream as that could be happening.

Yes she was told no a lot prior to powers as you would any child, haruhi being a brat did what she wanted. # year before the first episode she managed to get her powers, and at the exact time all three of the others came around to figure out her powers. The telling her no is a fatal decision because as Koizoumi says Haruhi is like a god the world bends to her will, meaning you tell her no, she will get bored of you, she gets bored of you she will make a world where you don't exist. For the sake of not damning the world Kyon is trying to keep her happy while making sure the other 3 are in check

Theirs just so much flawed logic in that. Someone with Haruhi's energy isn't going to get bored by you saying you don't want to wear a bunny suit, or play guitar or whatever. She'll just move on to her next scheme. If she did get bored that easily then only the SOS Brigade should exist since if she's bored of you she'll erase you from the world leading to her being even more bored.

 

It's the logic the show, novels, manga and series uses as everything I've been saying is backed up by an instance in the series or quoted from the characters themselves

 

Eventually the world would be completely empty anyways. How long are they supposed to do everything Haruhi says? And how would doing everything someone says not bore them eventually? She would obviously have to move on at some point but there would be nobody left. So they might as well just do whatever they want since the world is beyond saving anyway. That way of thinking makes everything totally pointless.

Because they where told to, and if they don't and haruhi doesn't replace them all 3 of their respective groups would fire, terminate or get ride of them again they are all doing what she says because the where told to.

At this point it's no longer debating why she is shit and its turned into debating the logic of the show itself
