I, personally, can't be on as much because of schoolwork, however there is something to be said about there being less and less to do (probably because of the lack of active members). If I'm entirely honest, I only get on when I do because I remember that I've PeRSonAL ReSPOnsibIlIty in the form of the Film Club; that's kind of depressing.

I want to get back to being on here often enough to wrack up 400 posts in 3 months, as I did.

Perhaps we should try advertising for more people? If we don't get more, then we're stuck in a cycle of loss: people leave because there aren't enough people actively engaging in posting.. which makes more people leave, as there are even less people posting. We'll always have those dedicated members (and staff) but those 20~ (? There may be more, but I can only count into said 20s) aren't going to be able to engage with everyone and keep the cycle halted.
