That is totally unfair. They are effectively saying your life is not important. Hopefully you will find a better job once we get a handle on the virus.

Well I have work today ugh why do people need drycleaing no point there's no point shur we do linens for hospitals but still we don't need to take anything in

Things are getting pretty bad in the UK and yet loads of people are ignoring the isolation advice. I think we may have a full lockdown soon and military will be mobilised.

I have been told to remain in my home for at least the next 12 weeks due to my poor health. In otherwords, life as normal! lol

 

I have no clue what is going on any more ugh ...
my boss keeps on calling me changing things up and well im going to work tomorrow starting at 9:00 est and ending at about 2
so nothing has chaned but today I have off

also bk I kinda forgot about that function im sorry but wont happen again ill be a good shed well about as good as an asylum resident can be

 

And here I am currently waiting for the government to class my job as a non essential so I can get some time off. All I want is some time off. With more people starting to freak out here I am just casually enjoying serving the public. The cafe across the way as well as all food places have been forced to close. So my little centre is even less interesting with literally nothing for anyone to do besides shop for food.
Customer: You're classed as an essential right?
Me: I hope not, could do with some time off.
Customer: You won't get paid.
Me: I can live with that.

 

I don't know if this is an state wide thing but drycleaners are now nolonger offering same day service because of new rules set for the prevention of covid 19 1. all cloths must be sealed in an air tight bag for 24 hours . .2. persanal working with dirty cloths must dubble glove and wear a face mask . 3. all serfeces must be cleaned with some form of a disinfectant. ugh more stuff to muck up my day oh what fun oh and the open hours are cut instead of 7:30-6m est it is 8:00- 2:00

With more and more shops/ businesses closing down. Rules as stupid as "no more than 2 people outside together" or some shit, I honestly don't know I'm not paying attention to the news. Lines at Centrelink are huge for welfare payments. Advertisements on tv run rampant with how important it is to stay at home as much as possible.
And here I am getting up at 4am tomorrow to catch public transport and then still serve the general public for another 11 hours without gloves or a mask. CAN'T I FINALLY GET MY TIME OFF? I WANT TO STAY HOME DAMNIT. HURRY UP AND CLASSIFY US AS A NON ESSENTIAL BUSINESS ALREADY!!!!
