I knew I should have sunk this thread when I had the chance. I saw it there hovering near the bottom of page 1 of the Asylum. "BLANK".
"Should I post? Maybe I'll do the guess the next poster game for a change." Instead I revived it and now we get flying butter and happy loners.

oh damn didn't see the new posts but I feel that what I have to say must be said, for mathematics and pomeranians everywhere!

no no no. Mathematics doesn't work like that a rectangle cannot be a square because if it had the four equal sides like a square it would no longer be called a rectangle it would be called a square.
the specifications for a rectangle are that it has two sets of two equal length sides that form four right angles. whereas
the specification for a square are that it has four side with equal length that form four right angles.
therefore it is impossible for them to be the same when you think about it.

and Pomerania sounds like the legendary Island of the teacup pomeranian's. But I'm probably wrong about that.

 

so a square is practically a rectangle then. because a square has two equal equal length sides and has 4 right angles.

 

but it doesn't have two sets of two equal sides it has one set of four equal sides.

 

set1: top and bottom
set2: left and right

so two sets of sides of equal length. hue hue hue
