Game debuts digitally on March 22 Arc System Works announced a new rhythm game titled Eat Beat Deadspike-san on March 8. Arc System Works will release the game on the Nintendo Switch via the Nintendo eShop on March 22. Arc System Works describes the game: Once upon a time, in an unnamed Hierarchical City, was Ragna and Dead Spike-san. Ragna, as hard as he fought, never seemed to win… Dead Spike-san, witnessing defeat after defeat, had a bright idea. If he ate more, maybe he could become stronger…? Dead Spike-san and Ragna set off on an epic (?) journey. The game tasks players with executing presses of the L and R buttons at the right time to eat food and earn points. When enough food is eaten, the player's Burst Gauge is charged, and can be used to earn additional points. The playable characters include Ragna and Deadspike-san; Hazama and Ouroboros; and Carl and Nirvana. The character Deadspike-san is based off Ragna's "Dead Spike" special attack in the Blazblue fighting game series.
