This year's 20th issue of Hakusensha's Young Animal magazine announced on Friday that Kou Fumizuki (Ai Yori Aoshi) will publish the final chapter of Boku to Rune to Aoarashi (Me and René and the Fresh Wind) in the next issue on October 28.

Fumizuki launched the manga in October 2015, and Hakusensha shipped the second compiled book volume on July 29.

The story follows a protagonist who always draws with no particular purpose, but his life is changed dramatically when he meets a girl one summer.

Tokyopop published the entire 17-volume Ai Yori Aoshi manga in North America, while Pioneer LDC (later known as Geneon Entertainment) released the two television anime series adaptations. In addition to Ai Yori Aoshi, Fumizuki also created Umi no Misaki, which ended in February 2014, and Itadaki!.
