Done, finally!
I chose more obscure members to increase the amount of nominees.

Nominations are mostly to gather a large amount of people, doesn't matter if they perfectly fit or not, we'll vote on it later.
So, if only for the ones you know, you should still nominate them, the process is anonymous and no one will ask you to provide reasons for your nominations.
Also, skip the categories you don't know about, no one asks you to know everyone.

 

Well shit,

Some of my noms have not been online since September, I expect that they won't make it.
But to be fair, the same four or five people tend to be nominated for each categories, so my first choice will make it anyway.

I tried to take my second choice on a lot of these in case not enough people had been nominated.

 

I can presume we can put the same person for multiple categories and I will try to get my nominations done as soon as possible.

 

Yes, there's no problem with having the same nominee in different categories.

 

There we go finished my nominations I spent the last 2 hours going through the forums looking for members to nominate for the categories I had no idea who to pick and didn't want to leave too many categories blank. Now that I realize that I spent that long searching for nominations that fit the categories I have too much free time.

 

So when do we find out who won?

I don't really know people on here anymore to nominate anybody. Otherwise I'm gona nominate the few people I do know for stuff that doesn't make sense.

 

You would think with 13000+ members votes wouldn't be a problem but most of them have never posted so most of them don't know anyone.

 

Do we need 15 votes for each category or just 15 people to vote in general?

 

The problem with having a download section that requires sign in, I guess.
Of course, it is nice to have. That was my original reason for being here, since streaming is not available to me because I am usually in a none to poor internet area, or in one that filters out downloads and streaming from Mega and Mp4 Upload.
Can't stream any videos in JDO at the college, thanks to those filters.

I only began posting after seeing the results of a survey I took for this site, in an announcement.

 

I know that the download section requires login. I was just saying that with the number of members you would think there would be more votes. The main issue is there are few members who actually use the forums which is the main cause of the lack of votes and some people are new and don't know anyone.

 

I think We need to hand out participation ribbon's to entice people to participate... I mean a gold medal is good and all but I really think participation ribbons is the way to go as everyone could have one just for participating other than that I have absolutely no Freaking clue on how to get more to participate!

or perhaps @Crazy Potato could make a nice little trophy for those who participate and call it a participation trophy maybe by enticing with something like that more would be app to participate??

I wonder if I used the word participate enough?
