im really bad with gifts, so..i dont think ill partake, i would hate to give someone something shitty if they gave someone else something awesome (its a really big social stresser on me, im not good with social things >.

From my understanding, we just give something digital, like images and links and stuff.
You send them to a helper or something, and the helper sends it to your person, so it's anonymous.

I agree with Spor. I'd rather see everyone give one really good 'gift', like a SIG they made for their recipient, than twelve seemingly random images that they person looked up on the last day. I already know what I'm going to make for my recipient. I'm not even sure I'll be able to get to twelve with the little free time I have.

 

Whicheverroute you choose to go with this, justhave fun and be merry and get inthe holiday spirit. that is what istruly important.

 

Exactly! It isn't the amount of gifts you give someone NOR is it the gift itself that's important. It's the "thought" that counts. So by putting some thought into at least 1 gift for your secret Santa, and putting that thought into the gift'(s), that is showing you care about the person and or are trying to make them happy. If the person doesn't like the gift, so what? If you sent them a gift which you feel they'd like (Based on what you know about them and if you know little to nothing then ask around) then the person should be able to see it and even though they might not of been happy with the gift, they'll see you put thought into it and that's what counts. (Along with the other good emotions too. ) It's kind of like how a kid/teen gets clothes/towels for X-mas and while they weren't happy to receive those things (Because they were hoping for something better), the family knew they needed them and the person who got those gifts will eventually see that if they don't already. So yeah, people don't need to worry about this too much or stress about it as others have said.

Thanks to whoever got me; I wasn't expecting all of my things to be given to me so early. That Umbreon thing was too adorable to not immediately be given a proper place in my sig rotator, and I'm defs gonna find a use for those other pics (especially that Christmas sig). =^_^=
Also, that vid was brilliant, almost made me want to try and learn the Hare Hare Yukai again. XD
(Yes, I did say again; Near the start of the year I tried to teach it to myself, failing mostly, but it did cause me to memorise how all the steps look, resulting in my criticising of when the people in that vid made any mistake. XD)

Oh, and thanks to Nyako for organising this thing.
