I have to agree with you. I am really enjoying both but Koikimo is coming out ahead.

It seems Koikimo is pulling even further ahead for me now. How the series is building the romance is very well done. The characters all seem to fit the role they're given.
Meanwhile Higehiro is good but something about it just seems off. I think all the coworkers irk me somehow.

Koikimo is paced very well allowing the characters relationships develop in more natural way without feeling forced to progress the story. Higehiro feels a little rushed so they can get it all in a single season and some of the supporting characters feel unnecessary. Saying that the 2 MCs are nice to watch.

Considering Koikimo has the creepier approach to this genre, the fact that it is coming out in front is amazing. Great op as well.
Higehiro was very promising, but now even the drama doesn't seem to fit it. I honestly thought nothing of Sayu's backstory. I was expecting it to feel more emotional especially with her friend being there.

I absolutely agree. And after todays episode it still doesn't seem to be too emotional. Maybe its just lost its momentum. Maybe our standards are too high now.

Meanwhile Koikimo ended on a high. I got too into that last episode.

Nice ending, would be nice to get a special to see them as a family maybe a time skip.

I feel as long the manga is still ongoing the anime is probably over. I'm almost concerned what the future for Koikimo would be since the draw for most romance series is the chase.
