Shion's Arc of the anime was probably the most mindblowing for me.

Haha! Oh God.... Hers was the most messed up one I believe it with good reason. Have you seen all of the Higurashi no Naku koroni series? I'm still, trying to find the second Live action series which was a let down.

I watched the first 26 episodes. Didn't realize there were other OVA episodes.
I want to find out the whole story, so I am hoping the OVA or the Manga would have a conclusion.

"Tag! You're my vest friend! " haha! It's hard to find people who show an interest in it.... I think Supernatural Knight and Nobs are the only viewers I know of. I tried to get a friend to watch it but they we're like "eh?"... Have you looked at seeing the second?

It explains whole lot. Higurashi no Naku koroni rei comes preferably after Higurashi no Naku koroni kai. Personally, I preferred the second season over the fist.

Now, you have a new one who appreciates this series. =)
JAF doesn't seem to have the others, so it will take awhile to get around to watching those.
After the first arc, I began to get the idea that everytime someone did not get a teddy bear or mention the wrong thing, people were going to die. =P

Forgot to thank you for that earlier. One series watched out of place, and it can be ruined.

Oh I spy my name, hello there. You know it is too bad Maddy doesn't come around any more. I think you would have liked her persistent love of Higurashi Kaede.
Now back to the discussion. I wonder why the rest wasn't dubbed, the americans probably didn't like seeing kids killing each other horribly every few eps.

Last post Maddy made, was having to do with some kind of testing. But by this time, the testing should have been done long ago.

In terms of voice, I liked Eng. Keichii better then Jap. Keichii. The English dub I did not mind, aside from Eng. Rika trying to do the "nipah" thing.
Too bad people accept TWD but would reject Higurashi, if it was about violence. The Nail-clipping scene wasn't as bad as I expected.

Maddy's not been on since part way through 2015, her tests have long since finished. Long, LONG ago.

You know, when I watched Higurashi I didn't mind the dub either. But since the rest is sub only it doesn't make much of a difference.
Higurashi could have been more violent I think, that'd be very interesting to see. I liked the knife on the wall, but my favourite was still the first 4 eps of the first season.

@Supernatural-Knight I think it had something to do with the murder that occurred. I think it was Higurashi No Naku Koroni or school days that a girl murdered her dad and was too similar to the anime when it was airing.
