I have now begun watching them. Namakura Gatana was crap, can't believe that the story was about a noble that wanted to try out his new sword on civilians. I am disappointed. I expected more.
But Ponsuke no Haru wasn't bad.

That's to bad. Namakura just from your description sounds like a bad plot & story to me. At least you enjoyed Ponsuke somewhat. As for me I'm wrapping up Sousei no Onmyouji. Finally done with the Fall Season so now I can start the Winter.

Got around 30-40+ days before the Spring Season hits. That's going to be a rough time for me because my planning list for that Season has so much. Largest amount to date.

Well anime this old don't have much plot, usually just a simple message. I think it was something along the lines of not underestimating/discriminating based on stature. But the execution was just poorly done.
Ponsuke had some comedy and was more about helping others. A much better execution than the other.

I haven't had a massive plan to watch in a while. The most I've done was 40 something in a season. I regretted it and had no time for other anime. Now I don't feel I have to watch everything that comes out.

Yea, admittedly as much as it pains me to say I have just begun watching the Winter Season. I actually have this weekend off so I'm gonna be watching like a fool. Got to get caught up.

Have fun with that. What series will come first? There weren't too many must watch this season for me apart from 2nd seasons.
