Hmm, I'm looking through my MAL list now...maybe try Blood+

That also has a "vampire" them going. It has that slow burn and then the big climax parts. It's a much longer anime, 50 episodes so it does it multiple times. Really good anime

Blood plus and C, Hellsing, trinity blood, vampire knight, DMC, elfen lied... I've seen stuff like these ones.

Ah figured. Okay how about...Speed Grapher? More of a stretch here but maybe similer in some respects. Speed Grapher itself is very good too

Haven't heard of that one... What genre is that one?

This is sort of like Elfen Lied in regards to some of the violence and content. What I really liked though was the story and characters behind it. It wasn't just violent for the sake of violence. Very good, underrated too

The good thing on Speed Grapher is that there is two other anime I find similer in style. "Requim of the Phantom" and Gungrave. If you seen any of these then defenitely check the other two

I've heard of Requim of the Phantom numerous times... Just haven't got around to check it out yet.
