Yep, there was a large change a while back now, we are using a completely different forum type and so this is how things are.

Not too bad, still watching more anime than what I probably should be.

At least that's what I've been telling myself lately. Been doing lots of that, playing League, and class. Whilst learning Japanese on the side. Haven't been on Skype in forever.

I have started too feel that I can and probably have watched too much recently. Not like I'm going to stop though.

Yeah never ending list of tons of anime currently watching...so many currently airing to watch too.

So far I'm just going off a book I bought, some apps, and then eventually Rosetta Stone and the sequel books. Don't have time in my schedule for a class :/ looking into podcasts too

Yeah pretty much, I always find other series that make me curious or I'm given recommendations.

There is no end to it, it just keeps growing.... Although I still am watching a bunch of new releases. Good to see you are still watching them as well.

Thats unfortunate, I always thought I'd like to learn Japanese in a class, but a book and apps huh, how's that working out for you?

So far it's going pretty well. The book has the hiragana alphabet in it and has a "progressive" style. So as you learn the characters, they are used in the book in the next chapters. It also teaches about numbers, grammar, and has vocab in it. It's 1 of a series, so I'll probably buy the katakana version once I'm done with this one.

Oh wow so it is a proper book that uses hiragana, man I'd be so lost so quick. I think I'd like to be able to speak Japanese but learning to read it I probably would pass on.

An adventure is one way to go about it, although it is just text.....
"If I get into it" is the key wording here, no guarantees I will just it would be kind of neat to know a second language.

Yeah I think it's neat to know a second language period. I was considering Russian, German, or Latin but I'd never see or use them. I usually see and hear Japanese every day.

Well who speaks Latin really? And knowing Japanese means you could then watch RAWs, that is much more useful than German or Russian for you.

Exactly! That's why I went with Japanese. RAWs and VNs and everything haha.

But that list has over 800 and another 50 in watching, from what I know that is about half of the listed H on MAL. And you say you can beat that in no time? Haha I also share 2 titles in common with that one, you need to add Mezzo Forte to that list.

I've watched a bunch of RAWs, I'll have to get you to translate some of the oddities I come across when you become more fluent.

Actually I was wrong, your watching list is huge not completed, so it'd take much longer than 16 days.

Learn it fast now you hear. Kanji ought to be fun for you, anime says even some Japanese find it hard.
Although I have seen some RAWs of stuff that even I could translate fully so you may be able to for a small amount.

The hard part won't be hearing it and translating it, it will be how to write the sounds in Kanji. Especially since there are so many ways to write one sound in kanji. I think I have Katakana and Hiragana down for the most part. Now I have grammar, knaji, vocab, and misc stuff like manners..(i think)

I don't know what to think really, that is a lot of time to dedicate to that mindless material. Do us a favour and watch Mezzo Forte first, like Kite it is mostly action with those scenes included, it was good.
