Been quite some time since the animes you've listed has been continued and haven't seen any new uploads on the completed series or currently airing, just wondering guys you're usually very consistent with uploads and I'll brush off the ones that are currently airing because I know you'll add them later either mid-season or when it's complete but I haven't seen any recently uploaded animes but maybe a few new ones so I've had to go hunting for a new site to get my fix I love justdubs and was pretty much the only site I went to for all my dubbed anime because you had the latest animes and eps but now you're kind of slipping...

Just wanna know what's up and if you guys are doing ok, bit concerned about the future of his site like you've been served or something since I haven't seen any new activity for quite some time. As I said I love this site, and I would really hate to see you guys go under like last time.

First of all, this is not the right discussion on this forum. Secondly, usually, @Laximus update new shows and daily episode on this site but judging the progress it has been slow lately. I don't know what happens to her but I can tell you there are other content managers are working very hard to fill a request a little at a time and fixing broken video. I personally just join this site because the last anime site I worked decided to retire and shut down the site completely that I work very hard providing dub, sub, and Japanese live action movie. This is my last solution site to continue my work but lately, for the past 3 months, I still haven't got uses to the new system because everything is basically manual edit HTML pages and import data. I'm used to using WordPress better because it is a lot easy to add and everything is automatically updated itself with new content and well organize system. Here is just completely opposite where things are kinda slow process steps to add content manually on the whole site. I plan to create a site that is part of just anime network that will improve this site better than ever.

OK Well sorry for posting it in the wrong topic didn't know where to post, perhaps in the off topic you or someone can move this psot to.

I was just a bit concerned for the future of the site since I haven't seen too much activity on here lately, good luck with your new position I know Wordpress can be a bit easier to use than finger boning HTML 5 , CSS, and Javascript in lol but I hope you are what JAN will need , Good Luck!

This might help put some insight as to why the sight has been a little slow.

The upload rate is still pretty slow despite the new content managers lending a hand. A lot of anime request threads are piling up, so I think you might need more content managers and quality checkers.

Keep in mind that content managers still look for sources before they can even update/fix/add a series. On top of that, DMCA claims can happen at anytime and delay or even halt progress on one or more series while we look for claimed content.

Requests and reports are being fulfilled as quickly as possible and the content managers have been responding to threads frequently to keep people updated on the report or requests. The front page may not get those updates quite as often, but uploads are being fulfilled. Check the anime's page that your interested in to see if it's been updated, they're the ones that tend to see the updates sooner than the front page. There are also some extremely old threads that were responded to as well that were previously just a "Received" status and forgotten about (one was as old as 2015). They have been looking through each sections through their entirety by the looks of it. They won't get all fulfilled in the snap of a finger, it just doesn't work that way. Some requests/reports can take longer, some can be shorter.

It also doesn't help when some people aren't reading the guidelines and making threads that are:
    • in the wrong sections
    • lacking info or includes misinformation
    • requesting episodes before they're even available
    • requesting content based on theatrical releases, instead of official DVD, Blu-Ray, or Digital release
These requests only delay their fulfillment and those that prematurely request content not-yet-released will often go ignored, even after the release date shows up and our content managers add them. If people would stop for a moment, read the guidelines, and follow them, it wouldn't seem like things are going so slow. Plus, it just helps content managers and visitors a positive experience. Visitors don't have to have a staff respond for why X won't happen because reason Y and content managers can focus on reports and requests that did follow the guidelines.

My advice for people is to be patient as the content managers work on getting everything fixed and added. Help the content managers and read the "Important" prefixed threads. They're there for a reason and can often make it easier on fans. Once everything gets caught up, then people can make some requests if released content hasn't been added when a month has passed from that content's release date. Threads with a "demand" like attitude can and often will go ignored for a while, don't be that person.

The team focused on getting the ongoing anime caught up first since that is one of our biggest area. As for fixing the anime, MP4 is constantly getting hit DMCA take downs, so for a while the issue wasn't on our end but theirs and all we could do was sit and wait for them to fix things. The other situation is that there is and will ALWAYS be something that needs fixed on the site. We do have a rather LARGE list of anime and there is and will always be anime that needs fixed updated etc, but our team does all they can to keep up with them.

We have hired a new team, almost every staff goes through a 1 month trial period, so we can see their work flow and if they can actually do the work needed. Our entire staff and team work via volunteer, meaning they take their personal time out of their day to fix the things that is needed fixed on the site, forum, post on FB, and so on.

The old content team consisted of only 2 people for the longest time, one being the big boss lady of the content team. Both of which became busy in real life and fall behind on the flow. Myself and Spor was also dealing with some personal maters and wasn't able to be on to sort things out ourselves, I had to undergo surgery to remove my thyroid, which came back positive for cancer. So the work flow kept coming in and was only building up for a few months. After my surgery, Spor reached out and got a new content team. So they are currently working on the build up of broken anime.

Real life gets in the way for everyone and to top it off, it isn't that easy to find a large team who wants to work in their spare time for free. If you would like to offer to help, we would be more than happy to take volunteers to assist in uploading to help us get caught up. You can contact Spor via pm for more info on helping. But i can assure you our team is doing all they can to fix the sections that is needed
