The funny thing is I didn't notice it at first but then a few weeks in suddenly M.A.R was in the middle of some kind of battle tournament with no set up what so ever. Then later on when I really started watching anime online I picked M.A.R back up and realized I only recognized every third of 4th episode.

Isn't that normal? you were younger so more manage to get by you, same goes for me and yugioh's censoring. I really never thought it was unusual that people were pointing at each other instead of holding guns.

I guess that's true. It's strange watching shows you watched as a kid as an adult. It almost feels like watching a different show after your perspective changes so much. Which is why I have so much respect for kid shows that don't baby kids. we adults get so much more out of rewatching then and seeing all the stuff we missed as kids.

Well that does make it sound a bit better, especially since the romance isn't heavy or anything. With that you have caught my attention again, now the only thing left to do is to wait for a good PV and I'll probably watch it.
How many episodes do you think it'll be?

Well there is enough manga material for more than 24 so it depends on budget I guess.

A potential 24 ep teacher series, well that ought to be something kind of different. I've not seen too many that focus on teachers apart from GTO so it still has a lot to live up to.

HxH has some great moments. Nothing too spectacular though. The 2011 version just ended recently so you have plenty of time to start watching whenever.

hmmmm. Well first off it has a LOT of episodes and a good bit of this felt like filler. It's not afraid to kill off civilians though and when the plot gets serious it really does get serious.

Overall I'd say at least check it out. But just be ready for several episodes revolving around weak demons in random villages and comedy gags that WILL get old.

Well I never meant to watch it right away or anything, especially since I'm watching Naruto right now.
I don't really mind weak demons, sometimes a small arc or a one off ep can be good.

You should. I don't want to risk overselling the series but I really did enjoy it especially when the mystery surrounding Chaika herself deepened. Also there isn't too much focus on romance ( just some hints) so you'll probably like that and it has some dark moments that I know you like.

I like FMA:B better than FMA because the plot just had way too many plot holes thanks to the changes they tried to make.

Haha yeah I know that FMAB is the accurate version of the franchise but I feel that I should watch them in release order, eventually. It would be too hard to watch the crap inferior one after the good series otherwise.

It's better than when I gave it a go but there is still a bit of white around it. But given how the image is already fairly bright It might be really hard to render this thing really well.

So I might want to try touching it up a little but but this is good so thank you.

As for what I thought, its interesting seeing the idea of peace that they first had being completely wrong for some areas. And the Earthbending fire nation chick was pretty cool as well.
The metal bending school has a humble beginning, 3 unusual students to begin with that no one expected much from but Toph.

What did you think about it?

I liked it as well. It was nice seeing what everyone was doing after the war. Toph is trying to pass on her Metal bending and Aang and Zuko are trying to enforce their own ideals of peace.

Watching as they learned that everything didn't need to be restored to how it was before the way was interesting. Overall I felt it gave the series a much more complete ending and it's a better lead into for Legend of Korra.

I can agree with that, it did give the series a more complete ending. Anyone can say they want peace, but to actually show some of the struggle regarding it makes their efforts seem more rewarding. I guess this town was the starting of the idea for the city seen in Korra.
