This is my first post, and a question with a tiny bit of history behind it.
i had been drawing this symbol since i was about 13 or 14, and i am 30 years old at this point in life.

and to put it bluntly it just came to me out of nowhere like art usualy does to people.

i have been searching alot to figure out if this matches any letters or symbols anywhere in known language or symbology.
the closest i have came was the japanese kanji character on koenmas hat from yu yu hakusho.

sorry for the odd request but i just had to know
    thanks

well not really an expert when it comes to symbology but yours and koenma's are different by how i see it.

yours uses a yin/yang color or should i say opposite colors used for each side to form a symmetry. koenma's is drawn on a solid color to emphasis the symbol. they sure do look like they are same but i think they are not.
