Ended What Are You Thankful For?

That even though I only work like 10 hours a week, that after nearly 3 damn years I'm finally employed again.

 

I second this. I'm pretty thankful for the RP community I've become a part of just a few months ago. It's helped me come out of my shell a little bit more and it's helped me rediscover my love for writing.

Mmmm... I don't really have anyone to specifically thank, so I'll go with this; thanks to anyone and everyone who I have interacted with on here since I joined a small 5 months ago. It's really nice to have a group of people who are really welcoming and basically took me into the JDO family~.

@all the guys who participate on the chatango chat - Thank you for your dedication by sticking around and having disscussions there as that is the more immediate faces of the site in terms of communtity.

There are a lot more names out there and I'm sure I could fill a whole page on it xD but that would take forever so, thank you guys, all of you. I'm thankful that I decided to follow this community and be a part of it since we were at JD Refuge. I have met a ton of amazing people by doing so. Even if I didn't say your name specifically, thank you just for being you.

@RenTheBoring For still being with me after all this time. I honestly don't know how you do it. Wish I could be there for you more.

@Dungeon-Master You're my closest friend and even though a lot of the time I can't stand your face, you still a very important person to me and are just like family.

@Sporadic For being a good friend to me and for understanding my internet problems. I promise I'll fix that one thing soon. Oh, also for introducing me to The Walking Dead comics. I probably never would have read them otherwise xD.

@The_Lullabye Same as Sporadic mostly. You're a close friend and I look forward to chatting with you and reading most of the stuff you post on Skype.

@Miss Elegent Serenity and all the other people of the RP group and Skype chat for putting up with my bullshit and frequent writers block.

@KarmaDelta Just for you being you. You seem to be the only person who I don't mind making fun of me. I honestly can't think of any other way to put it xD.

@Supernatural-Knight Even though we got off on a rough start I feel I know a bit more about you a bit more and see you as a friend. Also you seem tobe the only person who's discussions I don't mind reading.

And of course the rest of the staff and CMs, mostly for just putting up with me.

If I missed anything I'll fix it later when I can.

 

I'm thankful to everyone that has helped keep this place alive. I've been a part of this place since Highschool and it really does feel a bit like another home for me. I'm bad with names but I'll try to give at least a few specific names.

@Supernatural-Knight Thanks for being fun to talk to. out of all the people on here you are one of the ones who I have the most fun with debating and discussion anime and other topics.

@Sporadic Thanks for keeping the lights on around here. You help keep the site itself running and you help keep a lot of forum events running.

The person with the shittiest taste yet some how we end up agreeing on bout 50% of things we argue about despite being on opposite sides. the other 50% it's a shit storm over skype but when we work together miracles happen and anime theories are born! Which would happen alot more often only if we didn't have opposite timezones.....

I'm thankful for my job, working in my chosen field (in some small degree) while still in college, for my son, my wife, my family, and the professors I have that aren't d***s. lol.

@Mafiacow for changing my sigs and giving me a giggle. =P

I am thankful for finally having a job i enjoy doing even if the hours are a little all over the place.

JD/JDR/DTR/JDO has been the site that i actively participated because i know that the people behind are responsible and are dedicated to what they do. even with busy and hectic real life stuff, you guys still provide your outmust effort to provide the community with quality service.

thanks for bearing with me throughout the years. ive been with countless members on that journey. some stayed only to post upto 3 times, some stayed for weeks but you guys stayed with me or months if not years! in those thread, even though we dont talk much, i know that we share the same feeling when we get passed and win them against the odds (the mods and staff) and or get our favorit numbers .

Well i will chime in here and put my two cents in, even tho i have not been active at all.

@everyone I'm just proud to be in this community as much as the rest of you, regardless if you guys know me or not. It has been years for some of us here and not so much to others but i think on the bottom line that we all are here for a couple reasons and they are friends and anime. Well at least most of us, so from me, a friend to all and an anime lover just like all of you i just want to say thanks for sticking around when things were hard and going in for the long hall. It just goes to show you what it means to be a family. I consider this place to be my family away from my family, many members feel the same, so when i say thanks i mean it from the bottom of my heart and i wish the best for all of you, if you ever feel down or just need some one to talk to about anime, other issues or just life in general, my door is always open.
